Good point. Based on polls, I think we're out. But the selection committee may have put us in. Obviously Fla St, Fla, and AZSt were the top 3. Ohio St probably the 4th. They won the Big10 that year with just 1 loss. I too would assume we would be a touch shy. But looking at all those years we would be in or damn near in makes me wish this whole BCS thing couldve been avoidednin the first place. There was nothing standing in the way of a 4 team playoff other than the figureheads.

Come on man, he was coaching at Youngstown State this year, and not even in one of the coordinator positions. It was pretty cool to see the world's fattest coach on the sideline when they visited USD though, the entire playing field kind of dipped towards wherever he was standing. So what happens if Bo hires Marvin Sanders again? He's currently a high school coach. Or any other new coach to learn on the job. Mangino won an Orange Bowl, this was a good hire by ISU and it's one Bo could have made a few years ago. Yawn

Its mostly just the story continuation. Like when Darryl left with Merle only to come back or Rick kicking Carol out or when Rick offs Shane then they show a field of walkers. It leaves you wanting more but thats the idea behind every episode so it doesnt bother me. I wanna watch regardless of cliffhanger.

The cliffhangers are good for not only making casual viewers feel obligated to tune in next week but also to reel in new viewers. They tend to overdue it but it usually pans out okay in the end so this doesnt really bug me. Another reason is if they give a solid concrete ending other than the main character of that episode dying it would be a lie. In the comic, issue 1 he explains how he wants to continue the story after the movies leave you with happy endings.

The comics are the same way. They did a better TV governor than the comics and that was because of the detail they were able to do through television. If/when they get to Negan, theres no way to do the character justice. Total careless maniac with bae puns and a variety of ways todrop the f bomb. Plus the way he offs people makes you sick.
