  1. Just punt already...at this rate we'll need a MASH unit out there by the end of this possession.
  2. Is it just me or do we seem to have an inordinate amount of injuries each year?
  3. I think the pornstache makes Westy run faster.
  4. Agreed. For all of the talk Pelini does about toughness and physicality, the talk isn't backed up by how he runs the practices and program.
  5. Oops. Better fix the OP. Sean Callahan is the one who suggested it was strange. I don't make the news, I just report it. Sean suggested it was strange. You suggested a locker room conflict. Not the same. Is asking whether it might be a possibility the same as suggesting it is one? Hardly. If I'm a senior, I want to be with the team and to contribute in any way I can.

  7. Huskers left Martinez in Lincoln...what gives?

Taylor could have made the trip without counting against the travel roster.

      Weird....maybe not so weird?...

I wonder if he's become a problem in the locker rom.

  8. Didn't even bring him to the game today according to Sean Callahan. The Big Ten has a rule where you can get a waiver for injured seniors so they don't count against your travel squad. Weird. Is Martinez becoming a problem in the locker room?
  9. My suggestion is to drop him off at Boys Town and have another kid. http://www.boystown.org/
  10. This. I want a smashmouth offense that works in some play action and a few wrinkles. But the core of it needs to punching people in the mouth. That needs to be our philosophy on both sides of the ball.
  11. Sadly enough, I think Ohio State can do better. Given how Bo's defenses have performed the past few seasons, I don't think he's going to be a hot commodity as a DC if he hits the market.
  12. I want to play in the championship game. I assume it would be against Ohio State. If so, I think we'd lose by 28+. But I'll watch the game, root like hell for the Huskers and hope that I'm wrong.
  13. You're right. We should just accept losing several games to end the season, instead of putting our best player out there. This is underpants gnome strategy. I don't think Kellogg is necessarily the best player. Nor do I think that he will win us games as a starter that Armstrong would lose. Kellogg was 7/15 for 104 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. He had two rushes for 0 yards. Armstrong was 15/29 for 173 yards with 1 TD and 3 INTs. He also rushed the ball 17 times for 69 yards and a TD. I think Armstrong has more versatility and is harder for defenses to defend. No doubt we need him to cut down on his mistakes, but as a redshirt freshman, there's a pretty steep learning curve. I would expect him to get better week to week with that. And I'd also prefer to have a starter with more experience going into next year.
  14. Our linemen are slow, weak and poorly conditioned. And there is no reason a starting RB should be tapping out all the time. Strength and conditioning appears to be a complete joke.
  15. I'd start Armstrong and take our lumps. Use Kellogg situationally, as we did yesterday. I appreciate Martinez's contributions, but think it's time to turn the page. And unless we figure out how to recruit and develop quality linemen on both sides of the ball, it doesn't really matter who plays QB for us. Our lines are a complete f'n embarrassment...especially for a school like Nebraska.
  16. The great ending shouldn't obscure the craptacular game we played or the problems we have as a team and program.
  17. 90% of the time I have no clue WTF he is thinking and wonder if he's partaking of some secret stash Carl accidentally left behind. Calling him clueless is an insult to clueless people.
  18. Kellogg is 1/4 for 13 yards, no TDs, an INT and a sack. And he's the ringer we send in to march us 80 or so yards down the field for a score in under 2 minutes. This is a g*****n joke, right?
  19. Horrible play calling. Horrible clock management. None of the morons on this coaching staff have a clue. This is pathetic.
  20. Our linemen on both sides of the ball are a bunch of fat, poorly conditioned, injury prone, weak-ass pu$$ies who get pushed around by just about everyone they play. And we just got punked in the trenches on both sides of the ball against f'n Minnesota. Yeah, that bothers me. Our strength and conditioning program seems to be doing a good job with the skill position guys, but a god-awful job with the linemen. And I'm tired of it.
  21. Have you been hanging out with Carl? I hear he had some good s**t. Seriously though, it's possible we turn things around. Unlikely but possible. But this level of ineptitude will never be seen even in hindsight as funny.
  22. Does anyone know if Bo cleared this decision with Taylor Martinez? Or with his dad? If not, that could be trouble.
