    The right coach can flip recruits in a short amount of time.

    Recruits will know who the coach is by then. ...and if it's not Joseph the new coach will be in the $7.5 to $9 million range and that caliber of coach will be expected to have a stellar recruiting and transfer class from the git go.

    Of course he was retained mostly because of his relationship with Nebraska power brokers. His resume' was better than good though. An undefeated season in your second year as a head coach will skyrocket your stock.
