  1. It's easy to have a lot of momentum recruiting for a new coach. Not sure why, but it always seems to be the case, where ever they are.

The firing of Brady Hoke at Michigan has led to a complete destruction of their class. Sometimes it works out for you, other times against you.

Franklin at penn state had a ridiculous class didn't he?

Seems like HC to HC is less of a hurdle as a rookie HC

  2. 34-0 Is pretty much falling on their face I'd say. Terrible reach to bash Pelini on that one.
  3. The SEC East champions had their butts kicked by the absolute worst team in the BIG 10. Tell me again how week the conference is...Ditto with Note Dame and Northwestern.

Is the argument here the sec sucks because one team lost to a big ten team who sucks so therefore the big ten is good because they beat an sec team? That's circular logic on a Mandlebrot scale.

  4. Bo can go coach Michigan and rake Beck and Poopshits with him. Done investing in this team. DONE!!!

  5. The fact Armstrong is still know this game is proof of the offensive ineptitude.

  6. What a F**king pathetic joke of a game! Two weeks to prepare and we couldn't put together a 5-3 defense to stop the f***ING run??????? Sunday Fu***in done with this team!!!! $!!

  7. This is the Big Red we used to be! Thanks for the reminder Wisconsin.

  8. What's Wisconsin going to do? run! OK well let's not do anything different to stop the run. And just keep letting the score.

  9. let's put in a qb who can look for any other open receiver. Tommy locks on to the deepest guy every single day time. And throws to them no after how covered they are. Every time!

  10. WTF happened we open a 10 put lead and the team decides we're gonna cruze and let's up??? WTF????

  11. So I'm wondering here, just what is the best outcome we can hope for in the next few weeks. In my thinking, we beat Whisky this week, and Minny takes out Ohio St. Whiskey jumps in the rankings around 20ish. We beat them the following week, take care of Iowa and beat Mich St or Ohio St in the conference championship. We close out the year Big 10 Champs and end the year beating three ranked teams in our last four games. No way we don't make the playoffs then.
  12. Does Minny make it back into the rankings with that performance? Sure would help our case to beat a top 20 Whisky and a top 25 Minny!

I'm sorry, I fail to see how those are equivalent.

  14. God I hope FSU loses that way all the top 7 teams can be #SEC! Scum

  15. Does this win put us in the top 10? Its been killing me all week to see KSUX at 11, when the only difference in records is that they lost to Auburn (of the mightY SEC) and we lost to Mich St., oh and we've won one more game. In trying to answer my own question, I went the our ESPN team page. Looking at the schedule, I can't help but keep thinking what could have been. We're literally one Ameer wildcat fumble or one Alonzo more reception from being 8-0 and what top 5? Man, it's been hard to be this positive about the Huskers for a while, but this is fun!
  16. We are the anti - Michigan St. They start fast and can't finish, we take half a game to get started and finish strong.
  17. So does the offense just take the drive off when they are in great field position to start a drive? Like a td is just magically gonna happen cuz we're in opposing territory?

  18. so not only could Purdue run on Mich St. but now Indiana can too... wtf Big Red linemen?

  19. watching Pundue find running room on Mich. St. should leave our offensive linemen feel embarrassed and disgusted with their play last week. oh what could have been....

That's a paper penis comin your way.

  20. I don't think anyone is trying to take him down a peg. Everyone, I think recognizes Kenny's importance to the program. Which is why I was very disappointed he didn't try to make a go of it at least on the last drive. Especially if the injury is insignificant enough that he's ready to go already for Northwestern. Even if not 100% as we saw, his experience being on the field could very well have resulted in the W. I can't recount all the games he's gotten injured in during his career here, but it seems like there have been several where his contributions would have made a difference. Minnesota last year, McNeese St. and Michigan St. this year all come to mind. In all instances he was back relatively quickly, so the injuries may have been minor. I'm not advocating at all that players should play injured if they can't make a go of it, but how many times have we seen Tommie and Ameer shake off a hard hit where something got tweaked and still perform. It's Kenny's senior year, he is a captain, and a leader of this team. If it were me, I suck it up and tell coach, "put me in, I'll do my best to win this game for us," just as Tommie did. Again, as long as our receivers don't run into each other on that last play, we very well could have won. Kenny could have been the difference and could have led to an undefeated Senior year for him and Ameer. If he was sitting out just "to be safe," he gave that opportunity up.
  21. I've been thinking about that too, didn't want to call a guy out, but damn. Biggest game of the season and the team captain and our top wide receiver didn't want to be on the field for a potential game winning drive, but he'll be back next game. I was disappointed, but it seems like he gets shaken up in a game and he takes himself out. Too worried about the pros?
  22. Edited op to include Santos, Carter, Bondi, and Newby's injuries. They keep piling up.
