      Why such hate for Keller? He came here, did his best and it didn't work out. Has never said anything negative about the program. There are PLENTY who are FAR worse.

      I've got no problem with Sam but, the whole notion of this lawsuit would make more sense if the player(s) being represented actually contributed to the sales or profits of the games. Like anybody buys this because it includes the likeness of Sam Keller. C'mon, contribute to the profits before you get all butthurt.

    NU's D has a knack for allowing mediocre offenses to have big days. And our offense is consistently inconsistent. On the other hand, Martinez shredded a pretty good MSU defense last year, and we crushed them last time they came to Lincoln. Plus, MSU has never beaten Nebraska. This year will be no different.

    With the new arena in Lincoln, does anyone see a future Hockey team at UNL? I would love to see Nebraska compete in B1G hockey.

      I could see it happening. It's a sport that we can field both men's and women's teams for (no Title IX problems), we have a hockey conference we'd automatically belong to (B1G starting hockey conference ) this year. I'd say it's a matter of when, and not if.

      I don't think the University of Nebraska Regents would approve for UNL. UNO hockey is the main revenue earner for their sports prorams. The NU regents wouldn't want to hurt UNO athletics by adding UNL hockey.

      I don't think it matters if the Arena is on campus. UNO and Creighton have used arena's in Omaha that are not on campus.

      huskermike84, to answer your question, yes. Yes, UNO can afford to build a new hockey arena. No, it could not afford to keep it's football program. You are correct.

      I think a more appropriate thing to be pissed about is how the University of Nebraska refuses to combine redundant programs and campuses while instead miring itself in increasingly expensive bureaucracy.

    Couldn't agree more with that. I will give Bo and his staff this much, we have had some amazing RB's since they began coaching at Nebraska.

    I don't know if there was a thread started on this but I would like to know why Abdullah is getting more touches than Imani Cross? Don't get me wrong, I like Ameer but I just see so much more potential out of Imani and I think we are not using him to his full potential. The guy is a wrecking ball, and since he lost weight he seems to be more agile than last year. They are both averaging 6.5 yards per carry but Imani is leading in rushing touchdowns (5) where Ameer has 3 with 74 atts to Imani's 30 atts. Should Imani get more carries? Why or why not?

    Thats the damage from playing powder puff teams like SDSU. Our only credible opponent in our non-conference schedule was UCLA, which we failed at that game miserably (although I am liking what I am seeing over at Wyoming, they have the potential to become a top 25 team at the end of the season). I understand both schools benefit from these games (FCS vs. FBS) but it kills us when the polls look at strength of schedule, especially when we are in the B1G where all the schools seem to be lacking dominance excluding Ohio State.

    I am so damn excited to see Tommie Armstrong leading the offense today. But remember husker nation, this is his first full game so I really do not see the game getting to the 50 points range although I wouldn't be upset if it did. SDSU 17 Nebraska 35

    So how do you feel about the people trashing the guys who played for Bo and expressing their support for him? I would feel the same way. I get that T-Mart isn't the best QB ever, and a LOT of fans have talked crap about the kid but I have nothing but respect for the guy. The same goes for any of Bo's previous players as well. I don't ever talk bad about any college players unless they do something stupid like what Te'o did. Really, the only players that have played at Nebraska I trash on is Lawrence Phillips and... well thats about it. I would also like to point out, there were players who voiced praise for Callahan when he was on the hot seat. Any player would defend their coach no matter how awful they are... Unless that coach is Mark Mangino.

    I agree, his timing really has been horrible. I do not disagree with what he says but he should have held off for a few more days or even a week before he shot back anything concerning what Bo said about his previous tweet.
