  1. No. go to the SECPN's front page and look at the side tweets, one of them says we are 24th and they are wrong, I find it funny. It's funny because Espn stats and info reported it-they should know all the rankings- and they got a part of it wrong cause we are 15th.
  2. According to Espn stats and info we are ranked 24th?
  3. I am not voting Trump because he is strictly pro-life, I am voting for him for other reasons as well. It seems America needs a leader who will fight for America and be a pro-American. We do not need a globalist as the next president of the US, because the UN is slowly starting to try and take freedom away. Anyway, it is a tough election and I was never in favor of Trump from the beginning. He seems to be semi-intelligent, but needs to learn to not contradict himself. I really like how he doesn't like the media, they have been unkind to him about his rally numbers and some of them ask generalizations to him and not questions. He has a good VP pick in my opinion and I actually think Pence will have a lot of work to do, because Trump will be busy with lots of things. In fact, Pence will be in charge of foreign policy I believe and will also do all the little things the vp does like break ties in the senate, give speeches and take over for the president when he is not able to perform his duty. Basically, Hillary will make a bad president and she would make future woman presidents look bad in the future. Trump is going to make us feel good to be American again, and he is going to attract to the hard working Americans that don't have a voice to vote for him. He will not back down and let other countries boss us around, we are in charge when he is president and that is something he can accomplish with his big American ego, which is what we need in our president. Only worry I have with him is the nukes he has at his disposal, but I hope he puts that in Pence's hands because Pence would know how to handle that situation better.
  4. Will most likely play next year in my opinion, he seems like he may be too good to keep off the field. I am not implying he starts, but he will definitely see playing time like Tre Bryant does this year.
  5. Good points Mav, I was saying he gets three years to make the tourney, but to keep his job he has to have two winning years and we could make the NIT, if we didn't make the tourney. I am thinking a losing season this year would make some admin mad but I say he has two losing years before he gets fired.
  6. Not trying to go too far off topic, but what coach could Nebraska get who would be better than Miles? I mean he is doing wonders in recruiting to our basketball program, no one has recruited this well at Nebraska until he got here. I mean the only way Nebraska becomes a final four contender is if we get Calipari(which would never happen) to come here, problem is he brings a lot of his baggage with him. I would say Miles has three more years to make the tourney, before he gets fired and we have to also have one year of making the NIT and he would be allowed for a sub par year in there as well. It seems like we have to keep him, because he is doing a good job of recruiting to a place with no tourney win. Time will tell, but we need to start wining sooner rather then later.
  7. See this is where I take issue with lots of Pro Lifers. Many (not saying you specifically, but many) Pro Lifers profess to be all about caring for the "ones who can't protect themselves" and that "every life is sacred." That's all well and good for a zygote, however when it comes to other issues concerning life and well being, Pro Lifers are often times anti universal healthcare, anti common sense gun control laws, pro war, anti public assistance programs which largely benefit children, the disabled and the elderly, anti regulation, and against Environmental Protection laws. You claim to be on the fence about this election because of your stance on abortion. Trump has often times questioned why other countries don't have and use nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons. That is literally the most deadly force the world has ever seen. But your biggest concern is someone's private choice to take the Plan B pill? You're genuinely considering someone who encourages use of the deadliest weapons on earth, but might vote for him because he is against abortion? That does not compute with me. I can very much appreciate someone's stance against abortion. Don't get me wrong. It's certainly not a fun topic. But abortion isn't going to matter a whole lot when Nukes are being launched across the globe. That is a big generalization, I don't think gun control has anything to do with abortion or killing. Take em away, people will still find ways to get them and kill people, its just how it is. Also, where are these "pro war" claims you get, was it President Bush's decision that all of a sudden speaks for every pro life person? Only congress can declared war not Trump, that is also something a lot of people forget about. Bush declared war with the approval of Congress, if Trump wanted to just attack some country because he has the power, congress has to approve it. The last thing before I get back on topic is abortion is taking away someones chance of life liberty and pursuit of happiness. I am voting Trump because he is pro-life, pro America, he isn't a globalist which is really good. The UN has tried to pass laws to limit our freedom actually, can't remember what they are called exactly but it limits how much water or electricity one can use, not a bad idea but that is an example of taking away a little bit of freedom. I think his trade deals will help us get money back and force other countries to pay tariffs like the US does. Also make companies that leave the country pay a fine is a good idea or a leaving fee can't remember exactly. Regardless that's a good way to keep companies and jobs in the US. Only way I don't vote for him is if he changes his stances on immigration, abortion or he says he won't fight for the people- so basically it would be hard for me to change my mind. Gun control has nothing to do with killing? 30,000 deaths a year from guns. If it were anything else causing that amount of deaths per year, it would certainly be addressed. But using your logic of "take guns away, people will still get them" one could argue that "making abortion illegal won't matter because people will still do it" Many Pro Lifers tend to be Republican, and many Republicans are very pro war. Cheney, Kristol, McCain, Graham etc. I was talking about having Pro War attitudes, not necessarily declaring war. You say Trump is Pro Life? Wanting to use nuclear weapons more often does not sound Pro Life to me. Also, this is how Trump treated family members health care coverage. I wonder how much he would truly care about the average joe. http://www.newyorker.com/news/john-cassidy/what-sort-of-man-is-donald-trump "Even when it comes to a sick baby in his family, Donald Trump is all business. The megabuilder and his siblings Robert and Maryanne terminated their nephew’s family medical coverage a week after he challenged the will of their father, Fred Trump. “This was so shocking, so disappointing and so vindictive,” said niece Lisa Trump, whose son, William, was born 18 months ago at Mount Sinai Medical Center with a rare neurological disorder that produces violent seizures, brain damage and medical bills topping $300,000." Doesn't sound very Pro Life to me. Companies that leave the US? Like ... the companies that make Donald Trump Signature ties? Those kinds of companies? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CHoYbfOWwAE2eCO.jpg Two wrongs don't make a right dude. Yeah if abortion is outlawed people would still do it, but it would have consequences. I also meant to say gun control doesn't have anything to do with abortion or killing of babies, I typed too fast on that one. The gun obviously does the killing we all know, but it is the intent of the person who kills also, so taking away guns will not stop killing period. It also prevents someone from defending themself in an attack by a thief etc. You are still generalizing on the pro war attitude man, but yes republican leaders may be pro war, that does not make every republican a war hawk. Trumps only war he would do is get rid of terrorists in the middle east, oh we are doing that right now with our current president. Only time he would use nuclear warfare is if someone else attacked, he says he just wants to be ready in case north korea were to use them. Overseas stuff, yea some of his merchandise is overseas but he says he will make a fee for companies leaving the US, because lots of stuff today is made in China, we all can agree with that. Back the Op, It would take something like him saying his voters are tools for his agenda for me not to vote for him. If he says that this election is over, but people will still vote for him. Ted Cruz said he supports Mr. Trump so I do as well. The Bush's have no impact on me about what they say or who they say they are voting for. I am voting for him more so on an Anti-Hillary type of voting, but he has some good things he says. I will admit he has said some really dumb stuff, but I think Hillary is worse and she will only allow terrorism to grow her and abroad.

  9. I am excited to see him back at it again on Gamedays. This also gives those BTN guys something to talk about on their BTN tailgate. I am cheering that he turns his life around to make better choices, he seems like a great guy to be around, and the few mistakes you make in life shouldn't define you. Go Coach Williams!

  13. This will be the first game back from his suspension. I am excited to see him fired up on the sidelines and coaching again. The WR core has been really good this year during games, so props to the ga for filling in for him during these first four games. Also props to coach Williams for getting these guys ready during the week. Does anyone think we pass more with Keith back on the sideline? I think we might throw a few more passes a game, but overall I would say the gameplan stays similar to what we are doing now. Anyway, it will be good to see coach Williams on the sidelines and lets hope he learned form his past mistakes. I hope this lesson helps him turn the page to a new and better life.
  14. Yo, My name is Bruce Read and I make fo fiddy a year, And all I do is watch my team punt or kick the ball in the air, When other teams punt to us it just a'int fair, And during extra points teams make me shed a tear, Sometimes it hurts so much I wanna hide in my lair, But once the game is ova I am in the clear, Woooooo!
  15. Yes! We could pay him 750k a year to recruit, coach special teams and maybe oversee the defense or something like that. It would be a great idea to have him because his son can sway him to come here. Les probably goes to USC or some other school, maybe Notre Dame if they go 5-7 and he will ignore going to purdue if they fire their coach most likely.
  16. I still think we should rise for the national anthem hence why the pa says please rise to honor America. What comes next of these protests is what concerns me the most, do people start sitting dancing or doing other things during the national anthem. These players shouldn't be kicked off the team like some fans have said, Riley will probably talk to them about it though to make people happy. It feels weird some people do different things during the national anthem to me, if we all stand it shows we are unified as ONE country in unison honoring our country, our people our military, and the flag. It seems our leaders need to say what side of the issue they are on or else it seems a supreme court case could be among us on this issue.
  17. I agree with this, I wonder how well we do against the better teams on our schedule- Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio State and Wisconsin. So far hats off to him for having these guys well conditioned. People like to blame S and C for the team injuries, but those happen because it is football. Many factors can go into injuries too, so blaming S and C is just what people point to when injuries mount up. I have't seen that this year though, and its probably due to us being 4-0, it will be fun to see how we do in fourth quarters against the big boys. Edit- I gave Purdue their due I guess, meant Minnesota as a big boy team not Purdue
  18. Absolutely. And this is a fun thread. We do have a good chance of being 7-0. Wisky has a chance to stay undefeated, but they have a better chance, IMO, to lose a game before then. Brutal schedule. Would love to see it happen for sure! If they beat Ohio State I would be really shocked. I still think OSU beats Wiscy by 3 plus touchdowns, even if they beat Michigan next week. Wisconsin has two losses when we play them and they will be beat up by the time we play them- advantage Nebraska. I think it will be a close game and we prevail at Wisconsin because we are due for a win against them, but the D-line needs to play a lot better. Clement had 54 tough yards rushing last week, but if we turn the ball over they will score with short fields.
  19. Yea we have, I thought Ozigbo's fumble was really jank, the refs should have blown that whistle because I thought he was down by contact. One was an unforced fumble that could have been prevented. Ozibgo is a great bruiser but they can use him outside a little more, I wonder if he will ever get really good at going the distance through big holes. Newby played well yesterday besides trying to score, Bryant dnp because Northwestern would have tried to strip the ball from him all the time. Wilbon looked good, it seems Newby will start with Zig backing him up and Wilbon at the 3 now? We will see.
  20. Dang Wisconsin is pretty good still, but I still think we are due for a win against them this year. They are not to be taken lightly that's for sure

  21. Deshaun Watson threw an errant pick yesterday, if Tommy would have thrown that same ball this board would have had a meltdown

What did Clemsons board do? Esp since their offense has been severely underwhelming. We have to stop acting like we're the only generalized fanbase with ridiculous takes.

NOT IF TOMMY WOULD'VE GOT THE TWO POINTS THAT WATSON DID ON THAT PLAY.

Lol they probs weren't that mad because they still got two points out of the pick

  22. Thought his height said he was 6'10 at first lol. Anyway would be glad to have this kid, by the time he gets here hopefully he will grow an inch or two or ten.
  23. Nebraska-45 Northwestern-21 Air-210 Ground-205
  24. Last time we played Northwestern on the road in all white uniforms we came a way with an impressive W. I think we started playing really well in the 2nd half if I remember correctly, anyway only thing that can hurt us is focus. If Tommy plays well like he did these first few games we should be fine. Also the NW defense will be trying to strip that ball away, so Tre Bryant needs to hang on to the ball if he gets an early carry. No turnovers and we win this game by a solid 2 tds plus, we need a QB spy on Thorson to punish him the moment he takes off-either Newby or Rose-Ivey or Young doesn't matter who just need to hit him right away so he doesn't gash us again.
