  1. An NFL caliber QB coach should do wonders for our QB crew after basically having Ganz be the defacto QB coach for the last few years.
  2. Michigan reportedly also reaching out to Sean Payton, Jason Garrett, and Doug Marrone. http://mweb.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24906661/john-harbaugh-sean-payton-doug-marrone-jason-garrett-on-michigans-radar
  3. Bradrick Shaw, Jordan Cronkrite, and KeShawn Vaughn?
  4. If he leaves, we can't blame the coaches for a lack of effort...
  5. Hopefully Ganz's next job is not at Youngstown St. I think that he needs to get out from under the Bo umbrella and get some experience with a different coaching style.
  6. Hopefully going forward we don't fall into the "we are not going to recruit any more QB/RB/etc if you commit" trap again. Probably some selection bias on my part, but seems like we get burned a lot in those situations.
  7. So it's down to 3 - Nebraska, Mizzou, or wherever Kaz ends up.
  8. Deadspin has the whole transcript. They said that it had been leaked to them too, but they were trying to confirm the authenticity of it before publishing. So I'm guessing it was being shopped around to multiple outlets.
  9. FootballScoop Staff ‏@FootballScoop Extremely relevant RT @darrenrovell: There is not a non-disparagement clause in Bo Pelini’s contract w/Nebraska that can affect his buyout Football scoop is viable now? No, but they're just retweeting here. The source, Darren Rovell, is pretty trustworthy. Rovell is a douchnozzle imo
  10. What's Jack Stark up to these days? I think that he could be needed to help get the "Pelini" out of these kids.
  11. There has to be something more to the story here (academics or other). Our coaches just talked to him last week about playing H-back. The academic issues make sense. Exchange student freshman year. Two high schools. Hopefully everything turns out for the best for him.
  12. A poster "in the know" on another board saying Daishon does not have a committable offer to Oregon. Looking at Oregon's commits, they already have 2 DEs, numbers 8 and 22 in the country according to rivals. One 6'7" and one 6'6", so they like them tall.
  13. Best of luck to them. Hopefully they don't pull a Morrow with Nick Gates.
  14. I don't think those are mutually exclusive. We should be looking for more DEs with or without him as both him and Jones are on the fence.
  15. Yes. Good get with a very impressive offer list.
  16. And how are you committed to one school and have another school as your leader? I think we can categorize Daishon as a very soft commit right now.
  17. We need defensive ends BADLY. This would be a very big loss at this point in the game. Hopefully Riley has another ace up his sleeve.
  18. Due to Wisconsin's hiring policy, a coach can't be "offered" until Dec 17th. And didn't the dead period start today and run through then end of the bowl games? So unless Wisconsin's new coach (Chryst???) has already been putting together a staff and contacting recruits, it going to be difficult for Thomas to get to know a new staff (assuming Aranda is gone) before he has to enroll in January. I like our chances.
  19. Mizzou's DC leaving to take the HC job at Missouri St. One would think that would help us a bit in with the twins due to the uncertainty of the Mizzou defensive coaches.
  20. LOL. Frost trolling Husker fans...
  21. There is no There is no way in hell he plays in the bowl game. Callahan is getting his info from the Love's. They probably said that. I hope to god our (old and new) coaches are smarter then to let him steal reps from someone who is actually going to be here in the spring.
