i would like to see Ricky Henry turn his aggression into leadership traits

lets say that Frank Solich was the coach that replaced the Bobfather, had the same success that Dr Tom had, and then named TO as his replacement. Dr Tom comes in and has 8 years of 1 conference championship, 1 shared conference championship, no national titles, no national title games, and only a couple of bowl wins, I think the majority of Husker fans would be ready to run him out of town

i read in an article in scout that he wants to try and play football and basketball and that his offer from Iowa was big because they are recruiting him for basketball also. if he is to go to NU, I think Doc or the next NU Basketball coach will have to be involved in it also.

first step is always getting the High School coaches trust. if they trust you and like you, then it makes it that much easier to recruit a player. I was an Army recruiter for years, and I always tried to gain the trust of the teachers, counselors, principles and coaches. if they dont trust that you are honest and have the students best interest in mind, your life as a recruiter will be 100X harder than it already is

He was the head coach at Southern Illinois and I used to go to his camps when I was in high school. We know each other very well. He's just a good friend. That's about all there was. We talked on a couple of occasions, but not about that. It never came to an interview. Skip Holtz took care of that before it got to that. (But) I still want to be a head coach. Yes he deserves more people in his corner, but with this statement you have to remember he will not be here forever. My guess is that when the offense takes off next year, like it did the previous year, he will get his opportunity to be a head coach somewhere. I would like to keep the staff intact for ever, but i know that is not going to happen.

Time will tell on the experience that Trev will gain from being the AD at UNO. I wonder who will be NU's AD when DR Tom decides to hang it up and retire for good.

i would like to see who ever has the hot hand get the majority of the carries during the game and let the other spell them for a breather. i think that each game would be different for each of the RB, and by the end of the year both would total about the same amount of totes

what would our collective thoughts on Lee be if we knew that he had hurt his elbow, when it happened, and that was the reason that NU had changed its offensive game plan. i really think that Lee has the knowledge of the offense down, and will be the best man for the job provided his elbow surgery was successful and his rehab goes well.

even with the unknowns of the up coming season, i still like the fact that Coach Bo thinks that next years defense will be better than this past defense. if anyone should know, he should. the offense will have to be better because they cant be much worse. even as bad as the offense played last year NU was the proverbial "Pubic Hair" away from a 13-1 season. due to the injuries on the offense last season, lack of depth at key positions, and inexperience in the back ups, i say NU still had a great year. i wonder how much the offense changed because of the injury to Lee's elbow and the fact that Green just was not ready to play last year. i think next year is going to be a lot different offensively and more of the same defensively. NU will never replace Suh, but they will reload with Crick and Baker or Moore. it will be fun to watch

screw texas and the ncaa. all the ncaa is doing is going to cause colleges in the future to not announce who the coach is going to be when the current coach decides to retire from football. next i see the NCAA putting restrictions on coaches that have the title "Assistant Head Coach"

it might be a good idea to have Adi redshirt. It would give him a year to work as the primary kick off and extra point specialist and show the pros that he can do both. it would give Dunn another year to work on technique and grow before it comes time to perform.
