Even a close win is gonna cost OSU. Nobody wants to be the 2 seed right now and face off against a Clemson team that has been put in the background this season. I thought OSU was going to win it all this year but now I'm almost convinced Clemson is going to cruise through the playoffs again.
-
@Redux why do you think Clemson has no shot?

@B.B. Hemingway LSU looked like the best team last night for sure. I would be weary of Clemson though they are a bit of an afterthought and they shouldn't be. I wouldn't be surprised if they whipped everybody again.

Hey Coach, ....um....yeah, I do think he's better than what we got.

Wisconsin Twitter seems to think last night was J. Taylor's last game at Camp Randle. The (arguably) best RB in CFB history leaving isn't a bad thing.
-
@knapplc for the most part that is how it works is it not? I'm sorry if I find your assertion that the all time leader in rushing yards through 3 years is an average back to be plain insane. You can call Ron Dayne average all you want, but he is in the college football hall of fame. Taylor will be as well. So hall of famer, all time great those terms are usually pretty synonomous but if you don't think so thats your opinion.

@Redux well then your offense wouldn't be as effective. Took awhile for Ozigbo to make an impact, Taylor gained 2000 yards from scrimmage his second year on campus

@knapplc I'm not making that assertion, but that system had been in place for awhile and had many talented players come through it and none have accomplished what Jonathan Taylor has. I acknowledged his line and system contribute to his success, but the way you are undervaluing his contributions is ridiculous. But I suppose you can have your opinion and Jonathan Taylor will sit atop the record books regardless.

Thats where you are misguided. It doesn't matter what they do in the NFL. Tim Tebow and Vince Young are 2 all time college greats and what they did after will never change that fact. I can think of a million others. Ameer Abdullah could be held to that same standard. Jonathan Taylor is an all time great in college football period

@knapplc you don't run for more yards in 3 years than anyone else in the history of the game without being great. You don't run for 200+ more times than anybody in college football ever without being great. Yes he has a fantastic O Line and a run heavy scheme, but Melvin Gordon didn't do this. Taylor is a special talent that should not be diminished

We could go better than 7-5. I just want @10_point_buck to put their money where their mouth is but they've dodged me since I said I'd take em up on their wager.

13 commits, with signing day a month out? This program is as bad as it ever was under Riley, or Bill.

Are you guys using the mobile version or desktop version on your phones? Sure the ads are annoying, especially the one top right that sticks when you scroll, but it is still very usable with the desktop version.
-
I can not use this site on my phone at this time because friggen ads literally cover the entire screen.

So do you want Ohio St to win so we have a Big Representative in the playoffs or do you wish all doom and gloom for the buckeyes.

Huskers play Illinois in Ireland in 2021!

I wonder how many Husker fans would be joining you @Redux. This could be a really fun game to show how well our fanbase travels

@teachercd kind of cool if you ask me! Good to see interest in the game across the pond

There is something going on in that state, in that city, and within those walls that simply keeps this program from having balls, and the ability to play under pressure. They are literally playing better when the game is over because they are puss cakes, and cannot play loose. I question the campus environment and what life is like for these players. These issues supersede staffs and rosters. What is happening on that campus that breeds the same mentality; that translates to the exact kind of play on game day?
