  1. He also crossed it and then backed up. Not sure how that affects the ruling. But probably wasn't aggregious enough for either side to care
  2. As a former defensive player I equate it to one simple truth, offensive players are pussies
  3. I once coached a kid that couldn't catch a ball unless it was above his head. Right in the numbers drop it every time. Had to put his arms up, looked like Randy Moss. Weirdest thing.
  4. I don't mind targeting him but when teams are bracketing him and there is a guy running down the sideline that if he was anymore wide open we'ld be calling him your mom's legs, I have problem. Burn! jk I don't know your mom. But seriously just throw to the open guy
  5. I'm telling you Harry Potter screwed up all the QBs. They all started throwing with a low elbow which is not what you want.
  6. I think the problem in the past is our Qbs constantly missed a wide open TE running a seam. They weren't finding the TE when they were open. Now they are actively trying to get the ball to the TE and other teams know it. So now they are missing wide open WRs for a covered TE. It would help if the Qbs understood who should be open based on route combos and the way the defense is lined up
  7. I wasn't just basing it off this game. He has come up in the run game a few times and made nice plays. I just don't think he's all that good in coverage and he's undersized. If he was breaking on balls and making nice plays I'ld be in his corner. But he gives up catches. He got lucky on the crossing route when he fell down at the guys feet and he tripped over him. That probably would have been 6
  8. Well it would be nice if they capitalized on their opportunities. They have dropped multiple balls that should have been INTs. I also think it's time to find a permanent replacement for Hartzog. Most of the receptions teams get are from whoever he is guarding
  9. I learned I don't remember the time a Nebraska defense had two games with 7+ sacks in the same year. I would have to guess back to when Randy Gregory played or back to Suh's years.
  10. I do. He was open a couple times down the sideline before that throw. But HH only looks for #24
  11. Play calling is not bad. Execution is. The first play #84 is running up the sideline with no one on him. But HH decides to throw a bad pass to his roommate instead and it gets picked off. There were multiple times there were guys running wide open in what I would consider his field of view and he decided to throw the underneath route. He only connected with coleman because it was supposed to go to coleman and he didn't have to read anything
  12. False. He moved the ball down the field very well in both the first two games. Just happened to throw it to the other team. HH was very lucky in his first two starts. He had the same exact mistakes Sims had in this game. Threw 2 terrible picks (not in the red zone but in out own territory). Dropped a couple of snaps. Bad hand offs. The real difference is Sims is actually a better passer. He may not be as fast as HH but he's more elusive. Honestly after this game I would give Sims some snaps.
  13. Who the hell is #90? Made a nice play and just missed a sack in the 1st qrt then he gets a sack in the 4th
  14. Who cares how many yards they had? They one. And I took NW and points so I'm up because I knew it was gonna be close but we won!!
  15. They are Northwest of the southern shore of Lake Michigan
  16. Illinois is stupid. They tried to mimic our cadence to get guys to false start. They could have stole call signs and beat us 50-7.
  17. Punt would get blocked. Also, depress your toe not your coach.
  18. I think he died in 2019. He played for the river monsters and was well over 300lbs
  19. I've steared clear of Vegas. Been invited a few times. I don't like to gamble and I was getting into enough trouble in Chicago so I've never felt the need to go. I do like seeing animals attack people so I might have gone to see a Sigfield and Roy show
  20. Well if I'm reading this right Nebraska can run two plays and get a first down.... Iowa cannot
  21. As soon as I sent it I was like wait Luto played guard. I kinda just feel like coach is just trying to prove the can coach and that's why they stuck with guys who were trash last year and the year before
