maybe there were less Injuries since guys were actually competing for spots. Not saying guys injuries weren't legit last year, but wouldn't surprise me if a guy didn't feel like practicing a couple days he would come with a ankle or hamstring and then play on Saturday and be fine. I feel like this staff wouldn't hesitate to replace people

I have a feeling that Frost is just down playing the offense. I think the talent is there. The offense was able to move the ball well at times last year only to have a drive stall because of suspect play calling..... and of course terrible throws resulting in pick 6's. I can see the offense already being more adept to running the ball now that Martinez is a threat to also take off and run. Not sure any team had anyone spying Tanner Lee last year. We return basically the same Rec corps maybe even added more talent (time will tell). If Frost doesn't turn into the last two OC's we've had in regards to play calling I think they will be pretty good

These numbers are crazy. I'm from Indiana and its typically thought of as a basketball state. I think every year more kids decide to focus on basketball. That being said they still had 20 kids go to DIV 1 schools from the 2018 clasa. Only eight stayed in sate and that is divided up between IU, Nortre Dame, Purdue and Ball state. Had 3 go to Iowa boo. One to Mich and Wisconsin. Had two leave the midwest for Alabama and Cal

On thread topic but off topic from what everyone is talking about right now. Ozigbo is underrated as a receiving threat. BTN has aired the Purdue game and the NW game right now. He made some pretty nice grabs and some nifty moves. He looked kinda slow but he made the plays. If he has gained a step this year like some have suggested I think everyone will be happy with his play this year

I thought Kade looked pretty good in the scrimmage. Interesting to see if he sees the field during some mop up duty and make some plays

Not lil Red related but I saw Boilermaker Pete and the Toledo Rocket get in an actual brawl. Started with normal mascot high-jinx but escalated into punches being thrown and heads being ripped off. Security was called and they had to be separated. I like lil Red more than Boilermaker Pete

It means you dont have to have elite speed to have big runs if the defense isn't expecting it and the right play is called or read is made. Gebbia is plenty fast from what he has showed in scrimmages
