Did you escape that cult?? I worked at a Menards for like 3 months. I just remember the training video being like 10 different people saying "I only have a HS diploma. Nobody else would give me a shot". Then all the people who were department supervisors would just parrot that same thing. Had one guy bragging about making 75k for the year but I was like dude you work 80hrs a week.

they probably have been putting those sleeves over the balls that have the tails hanging off them so people can try to put it out. Maybe sprayed the balls with Armor All so they are nice and slick forcing you to hold them correctly. Maybe some hypnosis.

the same thing happened with T. Mart, A. Mart and to a lesser extent T. Armstrong. The coaches talk about protecting themselves meaning sliding or running out of bounds but they all became timid runners and started to slow down right before contact. I don't think that is protecting yourself. I'm not saying you have to try to run everyone over but you gotta be going full go.

I can relate. Patrick Kane took my date home from a club in Chicago. Only reason I didn't punch him in the face is because they had just won the Stanley Cup the night before... and he had all his teammates with him. so I let it slide

I heard mention that coaches can still offer guys to stay in school on scholarship but not play or transfer. The end of this year is the end of that time frame for this staff. Still a lot of guys to offer that to.

They played it better than most. They played him because in every other game he hasn't pitched it even when he should. Basically made him pitch the ball

Their TE dropped like 3 balls, got called for holding and got a 15 yarder for a blindside block. If he didn't play the tone would have been much different

When I was in HS my coach took me to the sporting goods store where we got our equipment and I tested a bunch of balls. Oddly enough I picked an Adidas ball. I liked the grip and shape of the ball. I had smaller hands. We stuck with those balls for a while. When I was coaching I know we had different balls that seemed to be covered in a ton of wax straight out of the bag. We scuffed them up pretty good before the game and would let the QB pick which one he wanted.

maybe the last 4 years I''ld be more concerned with him visiting Ohio St. The fact that Nebraska's D is playing well and the DC seems to put guys in good positions to make plays he may be more tempted to stay with Nebraska. Also T. Rob and Nash may both be gone next year. Faster way on the field

I think I might have preferred the old fashion way of getting backups playing time by destroying teams in the first 3 quarters. But I agree these injuries may be a blessing in disguise

Didn't Sims complete a screen pass in the first game? Teams with bad o-lines should runs screens at least a couple times a game. I used to tell the kids I coached just block like you normally do (badly) but when you let the guy by you run over there and stand in a group.

Numbers 4 and 5 for Purdue are pretty good

I think I learned the light has come on for Tommie Hill. He has 3 INTs in 2 games. I also learned Purdues TE was one of our best players.
