Only part I don't like about waiting is we look bad if Nebraska somehow wins the NIT.... we would be firing a coach at Nebraska that won 20+ games in back to back years... post season be damned... that's not easy to do.

Good player # whatever that could have done great here... If TM was able to keep him here he likely wouldn't have gotten the best out of him. Glad he had a good night for isu. So ready to turn the page.

I'm in Cali right now for work. Took me a day and a half with 2 cancelled flights and three delays to get here. I also had to drive to kc from lincoln just to make a flight out of Nebraska. People who don't travel regularly don't get it... you always leave a day early for important things you can't miss.

I'm all for the feel good fans... jump on the bandwagon right now. When it ends, take a step back and evaluate the season like BM has to. It was rough... They're really is no choice unless we have a fairytale type of ending where we win the conference.... and win a game in the tournament.

TM isn't responsible for the run imo.... hope the kids continue though. They are playing with fire and heart that we haven't seen for several weeks. The right coach would have been getting that out of them all along.

I believe the intent of the short clip was to show the great job blowing up the block... the video should have stopped shortly after then we all wouldn't be reading arguing. Good clips of solid fundamentals have been hard to come by these last few years and we are all hungry for some feel good vibes. Keep in mind- The reality is if he had been a good form tackler with his athletic ability in high school, he probably wouldn't be wearing a Nebraska Jersey. I sure hope it all clicks for him someday. Glad you guys do all this stressing so Frost has time to just coach... The nervous tension is increasing! Just think, we only have about 175 days until our next game. I have zero stress- I am confident we are going to be better than last year and take a significant step forward. I'm not sure if that means 7 wins or 10 but I know it will be a lot more fun to watch.

Every time I log on and see new posts on this thread I think there is new news... but nope just guys still talking way off topic.

Cal has had a pretty good defense the last couple of years... I'm on board.

Media in general- spin anything in a shocking or offensive way to get clicks. Ramifications be damned... The older I get the more I hate the news.

People pick on his comments about recruiting but I like that he is honest about it. Most coaches do hate it. It's a cut throat business with a ton of shady stuff going on behind the scenes...anyone with integrity would hate it.

I think Miles is a good personality to lead a program if he has the right assistants. He currently doesn't have the assistants to get it done right now or the apparent ability to do it himself so he is struggling. That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see him have great success somewhere in the future with the right staff around him.

Copeland being on the floor spread out the defensive pressure imo. Without him, defenses have smothered the couple guy we have who are capable thus shutting us down. Cope wasn't our best player and I would argue that the same result would have happened if JP or Roby had gone down.

Miles has to go. We aren't a good team since IC went out with injury. All of that said, Penn State has been playing really good basketball over the last 3 weeks. They just beat Michigan... not sure what NU fans were thinking would happen. It's sad our seniors are going out this way...

If we make it to the tournament and win game it will be an amazing turn around... would put Moos in a tough spot.

I think Roby will be given a chance to play in the NBA but Palmer is unlikely. Dude can't defend imo. Roby has at least the measurables.

I'm an old guy but still have appreciation for some of the more recent accomplishments and players. I had a ton of fun at the 2008 Colorado game. Watching Suh in person was amazing. My son got to meet him and then did a camp with him Suh took a minute to work 1 on 1 during a tackling drill with him. That meant a lot at the time...

Every Nebraska fan I know thinks Cook is amazing and cheers for the volleyball team. We all also get behind the basketball and baseball programs every time there is a glimmer of hope that something good is happening. The difference is, we all are completely crazy about football regardless of how we are performing- even when we stink there are game day parties, tailgaters numbering in the thousands, full stands, etc... Football is the sport that engages the majority of the population, period.

I went with 9-3 and that is assuming AM stays healthy. IMO we still don't have the pieces to put together an elite defense. Until we have the guys to do that, we are going to lose some shootouts. Heck, Illinois should have beat us last year if it wasn't for all their muffed punts. I do think we see a jump on that side of the ball hence the 9-3 hopeful prediction. I think the losses will be random as others have mentioned but I picked OSU, Purdue, and Wisconsin.

Betting for or against a TM coached team is insanity imo... never know what you will get.

Thor with 27 rebounds... and we still lose by 7 because nobody on the team can make a shot.

From the outside looking in I believe the overall program is stronger. From facilities to media perception, we are cast in a little better light these days which should make recruiting easier. If we have a good hire, they should be able to find success here as easy as any other team in our region. I also don't believe it's doom and gloom for next season if we bring in the right coach asap. Basketball isn't like football- the right freshman can make a huge difference. Bottom line no matter what TM has to go. I believe that decision has already been made and BM is hunting the right guy to take the next step for our program.
