I think Stanley's departure hurts the WRs more than Martinez. He made other defenses have to focus on him which opened up everyone else. Hopefully new play makers like Wan'Dale, Noa, Rahmir will step up to ease our offense into life without Morgan. Also, Stanley had a bit more drops than we all want to remember.

I said 9-3. Picking which ones seems a lot harder. I think that we'll be the better team in 11 of the games, but I don't think we'll have the mindset to not drop a couple still. I think you have to be inconsistently good before you can be consistently good.

Nine wins doesn't guarantee top 25. Most of the time a power five team with nine wins doesn't make the final cut. Last year it was Stanford who won nine and didn't make the cut. In fact Nebraska actually has a little history of winning 9 and not making the final cut. 2016 Riley 9-4 NR 2014 Bo 9-4 NR 2013 Bo 9-4 25th 2011 Bo 9-4 24th I might be just remembering the late Bo days when we ducked in and out of the top 25 a bunch, but it is a little tricky to end in the top 25.
