Two years ago we lost to Minnesota 54-21. I had us losing them last year and we ended up being 28-0 at one point. Each game is independent of every other game.

They have Nebraska winning the most games in the West!
-
Also, most of Yales were before the forward pass was invented.

If he's down to two choices and the OSU insider is right 37% of the time, that means we have 63% chance to get him right?

PJ Fleck is all about PJ Fleck. I would be shocked if he turned down a nicer job. -

@Scarlet Overkill I remember Zatchka tells Adam Carriker the story when he interviewed him last year: https://www.omaha.com/huskers/carriker/carriker-chronicles-rob-zatechka-shares-his-husker-memories-and-how/article_10d4aa8d-1fd7-5c23-b170-943130e5c9b5.html -

The nice thing about PJ Fleck is that on the of chance he does ever start to put teams together like he did at Western Michigan then he will for sure leave for a better school. So either he'll only be bad to ok in which case we won't have to worry or he'll be elite in which case he'll leave. -
College Football Is Weird - Example #872
Head Coach Scott Frost replied to knapplc's topic in Husker Football
I'll never not appreciate someone showing me stats. So thank you for that. We beat 4/10 teams, but they all also beat us at minimum once over that decade. And I would imagine a decent number of teams could also say they beat a couple of the winningest teams as well during the same time span. Being able to say we beat Wisconsin a minimum of one time over the last decade is more on the depressing side of the scale than bright side. -
** 2019 Opponent Previews : Wisconsin (Game 10) **

Nebraska has actually had a better record than Wisconsin and looked better over the last six games. Wisconsin 3-3 -Northwestern L -Rutgers W -Penn State L -Purdue W -Minnesota L -Miami W Nebraska 4-2 -Minnesota W - Bethune Cookman W -Ohio Sate L -Illinois W -Michigan State W -Iowa L Wisconsin 2016 10-3 2017 11-3 2018 13-2 2019 8-5 It's also interesting that Paul Chryst's worst year was his last. With his guys and his development they did worse than any other year under him. It's not just that. It just feels like their whole atmosphere is becoming stale. Could be an off year. Could be the fall of their big ten west dynasty. -
Mo wash cited for drug paraphernalia

People saying legality and morality aren't the same thing. Which is obviously true. But this isn't Nazi Germany. We're asking people not to smoke weed not helping the government kill people. -
Part of me would actually prefer not to have gameday in Lincoln for the Ohio State game. I think we have a better shot of picking them off if they don't go into it taking us as seriously as they should.

ESPN: First 2019 Way-Too-Early Top 25
Head Coach Scott Frost replied to Saunders's topic in Husker Football
I love when the media talks about Nebraska. It's great for our brand. But I do think thus far we've done nothing to deserve it. -

I thought Oklahoma would fall of when Stoops left. Since then they've had two playoff appearances and two Heismans. I really really want Ohio State to take a step back but they probably will do so slowly. Smooth transitions are surprisingly helpful. -

It's cool and trendy to put Nebraska in the top 25, but we have not earned it yet. -
Husker Coaching Hires: “The Pick Of The Litter”
Head Coach Scott Frost replied to Thanks_Tom RR's topic in Husker Football
As far as Mike Riley goes, looking back I don't have that many problems with him. He delivered exactly what his resume promised. SE didn't understand the culture and didn't have the connections or the effort to try to find the right person for the job. If you bring a stray dog into your house and it craps everywhere, it's not the dog's fault. We needed an athletic director with the vision and respect for the fan base to find the right guy. -

That could make some awesome trick plays with a WR as a kicker -
Husker Offense Looking for "Plus Twos"
Head Coach Scott Frost replied to Mavric's topic in Husker Football
Very important question: What is the difference in the Plus1 and upvote? How should we be using one vs the other? -
I wonder how many other previous Husker players lost every single game they played in. I can't imagine there are many players out there like that.

Maurice Washington Faces Charges

I would have thought the people of California, who constantly complain about an incarceration crisis, would not look to destroy a long man's life over a text. What he did was gross, but this is such an overreach. -
I too would be really sad if we don't end up landing him, especially if he goes up North. That said, Nebraska's brand is bigger than any individual player and we will be fine with or without him.

I think we should do this a couple times before next year. I'd be interested to see how much more koolaid people drink the closer the season gets.
