New Iberia, Louisiana. I am hoping to be named an official Husker watch site this week. We own a number of gaming related bars, but this one is our pet. With the Big ten network and the NFL network, we want a sports themed bar. When we get all of our Husker related stuff up, I'll post some pictures. Of course, we have to have Saints and LSU stuff too. I also think well add the replica gate sign of "through these gate walk the....." found on the huskernation website. We're going to put that on the door going in.

Were changing our bar to exclusivly being a sports bar, and with it we need a new name.

THe tale of two halves. 17-0 at half. What a perfect prodigy of Callahan; started with a good game plan and then failed to adjust when the opposing team figured it out. We were some what lucky in the Missouri and Okla State games, IMO. We were just able to hang on after building a big lead.

I wonder why the b12 let the mizzo game go? I would of thought maybe the Iowa State game 2010, or maybe Texas 2011.

it's like a competition of who can be the most"weird". Just get some pulled pork, whisky, Pabst, and a stereo. As long as you have these items and can get some of the wedding party to sleep together, everyone will have a blast for under a grand.

bubba is seriously considering baseball, and does not want to practice for fear of getting hurt , and then no millions. Its smart on his part to sit out of practices. He has until the 15th to make up his mind, he will still attend classes in the meantime. If I had that much money on the line, i'd be very cautous with my body. Does anyone think that maybe Bo put the kabosh on Bubba practicing, in an attempt to do whats best for the kid? It almost sounded like that may be the case. Bo's no dummy. Why waste a roster spot, not to mention the likely media distraction, until the kid officially chooses the Huskers? Not practicing is best for him and for us. If he become a Husker, a few weeks of missed practices would hurt him. It's not like he gonna start anyway. My guess is he's a Royal and is getting his fanny ready to ride the double A bus for four years.

I just listened to the first two on Audio book. Pretty good I am starting "Unbroken" The story of the olympian that was a POW in WWII. I gave a large print copy to my dad for Christmas because he was a WWII vet. He passed away in June, and while we were going through a few of his things I found it beside his bed, booked marked at the end of the book. It has received excellant reviews and I hope he enjoyed it, but I am very sad that I didn't get to discuss it with him.

So, Is there a chance that Cox will carry the BTN? We live in a condo and they forbide dishes. I see there is an on-line feed on the BigTen website, so that may be an option as well.

That. As long as you can get your butt to class, I believe the University experience is worth it.

Do you have Scholorships that will transfer out of state? I advised my daughter to go out-of-state because she could experience another climate/culture. Of course, it is alot more expensive and student loans are a heavy cross to bear for many,many years. We saw some really neat out of state campuses and cities. Then she chose----UNO. But the point was, she made many visits and that was what she was comfortable with. Have you considered the military? My neice joined the Air Force 2.5 years ago when she didn't know what she wanted to do and didn't get alot of really good scholorships. She is stationed at Nelles in Vegas and is living the life. She will deplore sometime next year, but she is looking forward to it. You should probably ask yourself if your adventurous or if you value stability? There are so many experiences that a young adult can have between the ages of 18-24 that can never be repeated once children, real jobs, house responsibilities, and other family obligations begin to happen.

My father passed tonight. It was not quick, but was pretty much painless. I am a little shocked because this time last week he was fine. Looking back two weeks ago I would have never been fatherless right now

in the course of three days, we learned that an old business partner has resurfed from living overseas for 7 years and wants to exercise his right to purchase a significant amount of stock in our company. Very soon, we may be out of our business and unsure if we will stay in Louisiana or come home to Nebraska. It's with the lawyers now. In the middle of all this, I got a call telling me that my father fell and that he had been down for perhaps a day before he had been found. Initially we thought the fall caused by a very high blood sugar, but found out through an MRI and other tests that he had a stroke and that strokeaffected his ability to swallow. He has to have a feeding tube put in tomorrow. Please say a prayer for my father, he's a WWII bomber pilot and is a hero in my eyes. I am in the process of driving to get to York for the feeding tube surgury, but I had to stop in Oklahoma for some rest
