So far ... blown coverages, penalties, no blocking on the line, a ball on the ground, a potential interception ... and now a punt return. But no cause for concern. This isn't anything we've seen before.

As a fan who hasn't been at a game in 10 plus years at Memorial ... I really enjoyed reading this thread.

I see my Huskers at 7-5 after this game ... to me that's pretty realistic. I am hopeful for 8-4. I see the same line issues ... lack of development ... even at this "stage" of the season. I see the ball on the ground the same as the past, atleast in the first quarter. The LB issues and depth certainly are an issue for me ... and I don't see us holding up in the B1G ... a good OL team with a running game could run over us ... see Wisky. It's not all doom and gloom for me ... but this game didn't turn the tide in my mind that many "traits" of a contending team ... simply didn't show in this game ... except for kicker. This was a very disappointing 40-7 victory for me. I felt a truly inferior team made us look exploitable ... and we made ourselve look silly at time. Lots of potential yes ... my spirit says "yes, Yes, YES". It's a start of a season ... with all the hype we gave ourselves ... the game was a letdown for me. By the way, I only listened to the game ... if that gives anyone ammo to shoot down my thoughts. I'd love to see this season different then my perceptions ... I do know this ... my emotions are pretty high on these thoughts ... maybe I'm not seeing things clearly.

Yep, I'd grade it a that if we only had one turnover ... but we had three ... that's a totally FAIL.

Announcers on Huskers.com say that the fumbles "need to be cleaned up". Ya think? I don't care what the score is ... three fumbles already? That is totally uncalled for. Pisses me off. One every other game is gonna happen ... hell, we average three a frickin' quarter. Sickning ... regardless of the outcome.

Seeing the OSU stadium filled with RED ... makes me think about wearing the BLACKSHIRTS for this away game.

Alright, I can accept that. Here's to his process and may he pick the right school. Ya, of the school's listed, if that is his highest criteria then I'd say we will be in his Top 3. His recruiting process will show him and us what he really wants out of his college experience and pro future. Wow ... and now we know his top 3 ... puzzling. Guess we have a ways to go to reach the caliber of those teams. :-)

Is this a legitimate possibly considering his offer list? Scary to think about any number of these players committing to Florida State.

If either Madtinez or Rex goes down it's a tough spot in the season ... double if Rex goes down with him able to take over and run the offense if TMart goes down.

Agree Landlord! I'll be watching for penalties and stupid mistakes. If they keep happening then it bleeds to the top, especially with various coaching changes. I expect better results and execution moving forward and Bo knows Husker Nation has that view.

You never know about injuries as well. Think of the message this sends recruits as well ... even at RB, you can get on the field at Nebraska. I like the pipeline being full and the experience learned will be a big plus.

At the rate FSU is going and this amazing class ... Dorial Green-Beckham, the #1 commit in the land seems fit to land there. It is crazy and amazing what FSU has done. Jaw dropping.

Crew and others ... why do the board view the OSU game as a rough game? From my perspective, this is gonna be a very average OSU team, we have them at home ... to me, if we execute on both sides of the ball we win this game by 10-14 and it really isn't close ... atleast that's how it should be. Are Husker fans just expecting the worst? Do we think we are that bad? Do they think we are that evenly matched? Input?
