    Pleased to follow up yesterday's 18 miler with an 11 mile recovery run today. Had some kick at the end as well. Good sign.

      You should be able to run a mile. Even at my fatest and most out of shape could grind one out in 12 minutes. Probably not how you want to train though...

      Bean - I would start off with light jogging, and not every day, but every other day. Increase distance a little bit each time.

    18 mile run today. Average finish but still under a 9:00 pace. 55 days to 4th marathon!

      I start my training Monday. Finishing a mile will be tough since I haven't run in well over a year and barely ever have run in the past 5 years.

    My Mom passed away a year ago tonight. My brother thought it would be nice to do something fun with Dad to remember Mom and be with Dad. Thus, I am going to Jerry's World to watch the Cowboys/Colts. Miss you Mom!!

      The next coach won't do that. We don't re-evaluate scholarships year-to-year. Only after 4 years do we tell people "you need to graduate"

    This was my first complete Husker game I watched this year. Pretty typical Husker showing that should provide a 9-4 type of season. Perhaps better. Congrats Husker players!!
