  1. Did they just announce Scott, and with a lower banner??? During OT? WTsimpleF?
  2. Some of you might think this is jumping the gun, but we seriously need to start looking into who we get after Frost. I've seen enough! Does anyone trust Moos to make the right hire after this Frost Fiasco? Time to clean house.
  3. The strain was spectacular, right? Do you see the strain? Do you see it, or no?

  5. Any sightings? I thought I saw a busy sign with a Frost mention. And there's block N flag.
  6. I would ask you to repay the money you are STEALING FROM US AND SINGLE MOTHERS!
  7. It keeps teams from burning clock with intentional errant passes. W/o it, and keeping in mind the play clock doesn't start until the ball is spotted, teams could whip it why down field and out of bounds and burn lots of time while the ball is brought back and spotted.
  8. Cocaine Carl the Womanizer? Really? You're not helping.
  9. I don't know why so many here are marking the Spartans as a win. I don't think they're the push over some might think they are. Sure, the Spartans were 3-9 last year but they've flipped that record this year, 9-3, and heading to a J1 bowl. Over the last 5 years they're 48-17, 12-8 against ranked opponents, and 7-5 against top ten foes. They've won 2 CCs. Little Brother has beat UM 5 out of last 6. What's the optimism based on? Regardless, I hope you're right!
  10. How long ago were the tweets for TO on spreadoffense.com? I did a glance but... Found it! TO was such an amazing football mind. My second favorite play of this game:
  11. All except Bray were fired. They're free to reapply. Again, I think Moos did the right thing. The next coach will have a clean slate to work with. He won't have to start his tenure firing Riley's leftovers.
  12. Completely forgot about that guy. Yeah, bring him back!
  13. If the bar is .500 and bowl eligible, the schedule is manageable. If the bar is a division title, it becomes a buzzsaw. The Sker's have 4 games against top contenders (UM, MSU, tOSU, and Wis), Wisconsin has only 2 (UM, PSU).
  14. Two years max? That's hardly enough time to give a coach a contract extension before they're fired.
  15. Coach Riley did succeed at Nebraska. Not by the measure of wins and losses but how he mentored his players. In the grand scheme of life, building a football team is is trivial to compared to building young men of character. Coach Riley is a skilled builder.
  16. HuskerVision does all the broadcast production work for the press conferences. Anyone seen that crew on their way to work this morning?
  17. So how would that work? Frost would necessarily have to quit his UCF job to sign the NU contract. Then Frost stays at UCF through Jan 2nd while being employed at NU. Makes no sense. What about recruiting? That starts on Sunday. You'd be ok with Frost taking the whole month of Dec off from recruiting so he can coach for a school that he no longer is employed by? Please don't suggest he could do both.
