  1. If I were handing out grades, I'd have to give Frost and his staff an A+ right now on the recruiting trail. No rest for the weary.
  2. I think some of you are underestimating Frost. He's one of the hottest names in CFB right now, and if he comes to Nebraska and is able to WIN next year and the buzz continues, players will start to come. Just think: if Nick Saban was our coach, do you still think we wouldn't get a Top 10 class? I think we would. Kids are willing to go wherever the coach they want to play for is.
  3. Considering he got beat out by a walk-on at Oregon, I'm not concerned. Martinez is the much better prospect.
  4. Not arguing, just saying that you can't expect to win championships with a roster consisting primarily of 3-star guys. You gotta have mostly 4-stars, with some 5-stars and 3-stars mixed in.
  5. Recent data (past 13 years) shows that in order to WIN a national championship, you must have at least 2 Top 12 classes in the years prior to winning, including at least one Top 5 class. Like it or not, stars DO matter.
  6. Frazier's run vs. Florida is by far my favorite. However, I'll add Kareem Moss' INT at the end of the 94 Orange Bowl that sealed it. When Schlesinger scored his 2nd TD, there were still 2 minutes left. Costa completed a short pass, and was sacked twice, leading to 4th-and-19. When Moss made the INT, it was a feeling of release of all the near-misses and past failures, a feeling of joy and validation and redemption and glory.
  7. I agree wth them for the most part, although I'd rate MS State and FSU higher. I expect both of those coaches to do very well.
  8. I wouldn't mind Gill. I think most fans would like seeing him back on the sidelines. I'm sure he'd make more here as an OC than he's making at Liberty as a HC. That being said, Walters would be the #1 choice.
  9. Parella and (Keith) Williams were two I really wish would have been retained. Oh well, it is what it is. I have faith in Frost.
  10. I heard that Keith Williams was let go. If so, we're going to miss out on some great WRs that wanted to play for him. Wouldn't be surprised to see another B1G team pick him up.
  11. Look at these offers that have already gone out! These guys hit the ground running! Teshaun Smith *** DB Will Honas *** LB Bryson Williams *** DT Javian Hawkins *** ATH Jahmir Johnson *** OT Jaron Woodyard *** WR Greg Bell *** RB Ayodele Adeoye **** LB Joshua Fleeks **** WR Derek Hunter **** DE John Huggins *** S Marcus Riley *** ATH Trey Dean **** CB Noah Banks *** OT Jeremy Webb **** DB Javontae Jean-Baptiste *** LB Jashaun Corbin **** RB Jerome Ford *** RB Adrian Martinez **** QB Katerian Legrone *** TE Justin McGriff *** TE
  12. Coach Dubb is the one coach I hope we keep. Hopefully Frost offers the job to him.
  13. I'm sure Frost will have plenty of QBs out there who will express their interest.
  14. I'm happier than a puppy with two peters  :P

I happier than a peter with two puppies.

  15. I really hope we keep Keith Williams -- we have some really good WRs that I don't want to lose/miss out on.
  16. As far as I'm concerned, Hedley should never have to pay for another drink.
  17. This is awesome... the Eichorst face at the bottom is what makes it
  18. This isn't just a hiring, it's a healing, and a rebirth of sorts -- one that this program and this state desperately needed. It's a time for celebration, and unification. I have neighbors that I rarely have spoken to over the past few years, to to my criticism of Pelini and Riley... today, we all celebrated together. It only gets better from here.
  19. He handled it all professionally and magnificently. We are in good -- no, GREAT -- hands with Moos in charge.
  20. If he wants to bring him, let him. I'm sure if after a couple years our D isn't up to par, Frost will find a replacement.
