It baffles me too. I would guess morals, selflessness and open mindedness are seriously lacking in many “Red” states. They don’t care what Trump does as long as he’s not a Democrat who’s going to raise their taxes, take away their guns, invite those immigrants to come take their jobs and blah, blah, blah....they’re basically clueless on all that B.S. because they only watch Fox News and listen to Limbaugh, etc. I’m really close to a few of those Trump backers and it makes me sad, actually. For Trump to get defeated, I truly believe its it’s going to take a lot of those people to get their proverbial heads out of their a$$es and do what’s right in 2020. A Democrat nominee who’s too polarizing won’t help matters IMO.

This is very entertaining. Watching it all play out. But, when it really comes down to what is going to happen, I think there’s pretty much a forgone conclusion. The House will impeach. The Senate will hold trials, but will not confirm. Trump will finish out his term and it will be ugly. The 2020 election will be one of the ugliest anyone can remember. Hopefully the Dems get their stuff together and nominate someone who’s electable.

At least the Dad has a Michigan sweatshirt on. The Mom’s Nebraska shirt is less obvious.

You make it sound like he’s going around and complaining to everyone who will listen. That’s a whinny B. And that’s not Coach Frost. He gets asked questions in media sessions and answers them. Frost has shown consistent bluntness and truthfulness when asked a question more so than a lot of HC’s who prefer to say as little as possible. No offense, but sometimes people like you, for example, don’t handle this well and don’t like him stating what he believes to be true.

Trump. I don’t see the Senate convicting and removing him from office. He’ll be back on the ballot in 2020.

I'll give you mine. It's likely a multitude of factors. If it was as simple as a couple bad position groups, that probably could have been corrected or at least improved on by now. 1. Coaching? Yes, that's probably part of it. I think the transition to the B1G has been much more difficult than the coaches will admit. I think these coaches will grow and learn from this year. I still fully trust Frost as our leader. 2. Lack of developed talent? Oh heck yeah! How many guys have been flying off to the NFL the past 3-4 seasons? Not many, especially on the O and D lines. 3. Sub-par QB play? Definitely, but more ails the offensive performance than just AM's major sophomore slump. 4. Lack of trusted playmakers on offense. When your clear go-to guy is a true freshman (albeit a future star), that's pretty telling. 5. Consistently poor linebacker play. The 3-4 scheme cannot possibly be effective without good linebacker play. 6. Inconsistent special teams. Some bright spots now and then, like a few blocked punts, but overall not very good. Especially the kicking game. So, in summary, most everything needs to get better for this thing to get right. I think it will happen, but could be another 2-3 years. It's hard as hell, but we need to have some patience.

I agree that Trump needs to be defeated. My point is that I worry that the Dem candidates viewed as far left will not get enough votes. That’s why I like Bloomberg as a candidate. I think he can get conservative votes.

May to should have put quotes around the off the rails part so you wouldn’t have to get all riled up. Whoever is going to defeat trump is going to need some conservative votes. Right or wrong, I would imagine a lot of conservatives view Warren and Bernie’s ideas as “off the rails “. A more Centrist leaning candidate, in my opinion would be better. Last I checked, AOC isn’t running. Not sure why you mentioned her.

I’m all for it. I’m not convinced with Biden so Bloomberg may be the most likely to defeat Trump because he’s not off the rails left.

Trump cult members’ blind loyalty won’t allow them to see this and truly there is no hope for them. He could punch a baby and drop kick a puppy on live TV and then blame it on Hillary and they would believe him.

I've never been to a medium, but have spoken to someone who has. Learning about her experience kind of blew me away. I often have trouble believing in the validity of mediums and the like, but after hearing my co-workers experience, I don't completely dismiss it either. I just think that there is an existence of intelligence, energy and forces that are more than humans can possibly comprehend. Because of that, I really don't see how people can dismiss religions or really any other beliefs about why we are here, but to each their own...

I’m with your effort take. I’ll also add that I cringe every time I hear “if you’re going to make a mistake, make it at 100 miles per hour “. To me that de-emphasizes the importance of not making mistakes and the whole 100mph thing leads to: over pursuing, tackling with poor form, etc. I think some players, especially the ones with low football IQ, take this too literally and that leads to basically what we see from most of the LBs week in and week out. How hard is it to make an open field tackle for crying out loud! You don’t need to take the guys head off, just break down and wrap up. And for heavens sake don’t look at the ball carrier’s eyes!

I’d take Darrion Daniels any day on the line. Great attitude and plays hard. I’m a little conflicted on Lamar. He has played very well at times this season and maybe could step up the physicality other times. With the right coaching, he could be a good NFL corner. He certainly has the athleticism.

Linebackers. Specifically inside. OLB a close second.

Agree on Daniels. We won’t miss this kind of effort from 21.

Your venting is completely understandable. Next season will showcase a lot of new and younger players. See improvement as the season progresses, then things will look promising. However, no improvement or regression will speak volumes.

True, but I think the original post wast predicated on him being able to go by then. He''s got two weeks to heal up. Hopefully it happens.

I can get behind this. Frost even said in his post game presser that he will do whatever it takes to turn this around. I believe him and that's why he is the right guy for the job. Sometimes figuring things out looks ugly, like it does now. Next year on D, I think it will be addition by subtraction. We may struggle early in the season due to youth on D, but by the end of the season, I think there will be significant improvement.

All things considered, this makes some sense. I doubt it will happen though.
