  1. I wonder if Saban would make him bench his QB after 3 picks or if he would leave him in to inevitably throw the 4th.
  2. Mac Brown!! Just think about it for .01 second
  3. Money should be the least of the universities concern, I mean how much is it going to cost us to keep Frost. If fans loose hope, What will next years home games look like. In my opinion it is going to start costing us a lot more to not spend the money.
  4. DJ Durkin is Kiffins' CO-DC, it would be nice to get into the Maryland area recruiting ground.
  5. I am beginning to like the idea of this Kiffin feller.
  6. We need to get the new facilities up and running. Then I think we will be able to attract a bigger name coach. turd sandwich
  7. No, we wont get Harsin unless we play out Scots 3 years and hope Harsin doesn't get a extension. Anyway, the most likely candidate that I think we could get that would make a impact would be Campbell. I think recruiting would improve with the new facilities and Campbell being "young" one of the bases Nebraska needs to be looking to cover in the next HC is longevity, and we need to decide what that looks like in the terms of what a successful season looks like in order to know if we are improving. Our expectations vs reality need to be realigned. So, I know a 3-9 win season is not acceptable or successful by anyone's standards, but what will be considered successful in year one of the new coach 6-6? in years 1&2 then in year 3 move up to 8 wins and by year 4 we have a 9 win expectation that needs to be met maintained moving forward or what will be allowed by the fan base to be considered acceptable? I myself am not interested in 9 win seasons. I know where this program should be and it is not 2nd place to anyone. anyway....
  8. The inflexion in his voice when he said" Another one score game, which is kind of a joke by God now..." holy cow I felt that.
  9. I think Mel Tucker at LSU would be a very good fit. I think he would have a ton of success.
  10. I agree with that, however Nebraska has been down for 20 years. I/we do not have the luxury of rolling the dice anymore. We need a sure thing, that to me is a someone that is a program building and program sustaining coach. I think Campbell fits that mold. He has certainly done more with less and arguably the cupboard at Nebraska is much more stocked than it is at ISU. Now weather or not those are his type or style of players who knows but a coach should not have to have his players in place to win. A coach that is worth his salt should be able to get the most out of his team regardless of the star or recruiting class ranking.
  11. Crazy to think that MSU, PSU, Nebraska, all may have new head coaches after the season. Maybe Michigan too.
  12. I would be on board with Matt Campbell, I think that he is a great coach and most importantly he is a program builder. I do think he would be able to recruit here and have a immediate success with the talent already on the roster.
  13. On the Gus bus huh. I personally think that Bryan Harsin is in the top 3 head coaches in the SEC.
  14. 4 picks 1 for a TD. Nebraska lost by 5. He cost us more than he is bringing in.
  15. I would not be opposed to that. In my absolute dream world Auburn's head coach and entire football staff would find Lincoln to be top shelf and all would want to move here and settle in for the next 25 years
  16. Optuon 1. Urban. Option 2.Wake me in 4 years when I once again say hire Urban.
