  1. They absolutely can, because it is hard to recruit to ND. They have very stringent admission standards. Also, why are y'all still talking about this? I gave you the chart a long time ago. The chart is the truth and the way and the life.
  2. Unless his criminal actions prevent him from being chosen.
  3. Doesn't encounters essentially mean people crossing or trying to cross? Which has nothing to do with the president or our country's policies but everything to do with the climate in the countries they're coming from?

  5. He took a stand against bulls#!t journalism and a bulls#!t question, and in so doing also unequivocally went on record saying he condemns any form of vicious racial discrimination. So he is (per his claim) against it, while also discussing the topic in such a way as to expose the loaded premise of the question actually being asked in the first place. The question wasn't *really* about white nationalism, and as such he refused to agree to the framing. Basically responding in kind, and like I said before, he actually revealed himself more to me in the answer with his addendums and disclaimers, but I see no valid criticism on the basis of, 'He DiDn'T cOnDemN wHiTe SuPrEmAcY!!'
  6. This isn't a bad strategy, but it is the conservative one. Deboer's motivation was 'we're good enough to get the first down and completely end it', which also isn't a bad strategy, just an unlucky thing.
  7. This is a terrible take and interpretation. Ramaswamy is a clown for a lot of reasons, but this isn't one of them. While I think his premise and conclusion are both lacking some important clarity and articulation, which actually does more heavy lifting of revealing his true stance towards race relations (which I find to be inadequate), the question is not served as a neutral opportunity, and his response exposes it as such and is at least something better than, 'MY OPINION IS THAT RACISM IS BAD PLEASE CLAP'.
  8. No regulations also has nothing to do with the second amendment.
  9. I think the conversation is specifically around parity at the very top, not just in general. Basement dweller teams winning 8-11 games in one random year or even over a period of a few with the right coach isn't that novel and has happened plenty of times.
  10. Refs f#&%ed us on that too, said it was a forward pass when it was not.
  11. The chart is the way, the truth, and the life. All hail the chart.
  12. Yeah, you've got me confused with someone else, who I was sarcastically poking fun at with my post.
  13. jeez why is everybody so obsessed with this guy?
  14. Every once in a while someone comes along that is awful enough and influential enough that begs anyone decent to actively stand against. And then alongside those folks are a bunch of virtue signaling opportunists desperate to pat themselves on the back.
  15. I'll take the wager. Loser has to have an iowa avatar with a bunch of hearts for a month.
  16. I certainly don't like it, but at the end of the day, bowl games were originally created to be exhibitions and nothing more.
  17. Have you considered the idea that blue people moving away can make an area more red and there's no need to ponder in terms of adding new voters.
  18. What universe does that guy live in?
  19. I'm still yet to see him throw a slant or swing route but f#&% it who cares, not like we've ever had a player perceived like this ever.
  20. I think this is a classic case of clout chasing, but I'm open to being proven wrong.
  21. I've definitely experienced this plenty and lived it myself, and on the flip side of this experience I can't explain how liberating it feels to start living out a reality where you host and don't always have to do that. I spend a *lot* of time in and fostering community and am really fortunate to have a wide and rich network of people all over Atlanta that feel like an extended family of ~100 or so folks in the art community that are all relatively tight knit. Our house is one that people have come to expect as being one of the main big gathering places for parties, events, etc., and a year or two ago we started doing an open door, self hosting policy every Sunday. Essentially just telling people we'll be home, have no plan, and would love for people to drop in whenever they feel like and do whatever they want, whether that be hang with us or just read a book or paint or watch tv or whatever. We usually all end up hanging out together anyways, but we make very little effort towards putting a best foot forward and it feels so nice.
  22. He looked good when he was healthy. Unfortunately, he tore his throwing elbow in week 3 (I think) and had to hobble through the rest of the season and did it quietly and with dignity and class.
