    An interesting nugget from TA's post-SDSU presser: the deep passes were more just the reads on the plays, rather than the playcalls themselves. Are different reads the reason they were absent vs UCLA?

      Mostly one deep safety with soft corners or two deep with press corners through three series. We did beat them over the top on two of three TDs.

    Can we keep a lid on the Taylor angst? I feel ya guys. I've been critical of what TM brings to the offense. But it's possible to support the other guys with class...instead of raucously cheering Taylor out the door.

      We still have someone with that burst, may not be as fast, but Stanton has that burst as well. Just hope its still there after the ACL repair. :)

      Completely agree, but if this is the true TA, and he can perform like he did tonight in big games, he could very well make it hard for Stanton to take his role. Great thing, both kids have GREAT work ethics, and enjoy competition.

    I was extremely skeptical about rotating QBs, but both of our guys have looked outstanding. Really sharp.

    There are skeletons in everyone's closet. People against Bo have been waiting for the opportunity to play this card to the masses. There's worse that might yet come out. I think we should refuse to be pawns in their game.

      I want the information. This tape doesn't affect my opinion of Bo either way. I see it as irrelevant, old news. But I still want all the information I can get.

      I agree with you, X, and I feel the same. However, it affects the opinions of a lot of people. And the mounting embarrassment of successive similar leaks puts bad spotlight and pressure on the University. This is, of course, the strategy.

      I don't buy the student athletes are all that matter. They're a big important piece of the puzzle but NU football entails a huge number of things, many very important also.

      Oh, I did like the numbers. The red text was a little weird. And the wide stripe on the helmets. There's no way this even approaches the tradition and class of our red unis though. If they wanna do the numbers look on a red uni I'm all for it.
