Looked pretty good last year when they ran it againt mizzou with Baker in the middle. This isnt a permanent move, sounds like they are trying to find more ways to attack defenses. Using Missouri as an example for why a rush defense will succeed is never a good idea. You'll need a different benchmark...just about anybody would do.

And he also does those awesome montages after every golf major. He's no scrub. Sorry he badmouthed us a little bit. Whooptie-freakin' doo. That ten-time national sportswriter of the year doesn't mean he can't write a piece of trash. Nor do those ten writer of the year awards pay for his mortgage. You know what does? Clicks on his stories. Journalism is a business. Reilly is a businessman. He's doing what he has to to put food on the table. Don't get starstruck by some awards. Discern what he's writing, not who's writing it. Right, it's business, so why take it personally? I laughed at it. No kidding. Get over it. I thought it was funny and I have no idea who the hell Rick Reilly is. If you don't think so, then cool, but don't act all butt hurt when somebody disagrees with you.

I agree. Sort of. People that go to college will earn more than the people who don't. True. On an individual basis, going to college will ALWAYS earn you more than not going to college. False. It's a case-by-case thing, and if you're not the brightest tool in the drawer then you might be better working right away. If you're smart enough to get a good degree, then definitely go to college. What I'm saying isn't anything different from anybody else in the sense that you need to do what is best for you. I'm just trying to point out that college isn't always what's best for you.

Not quite true. link It makes those student loan dollars seem a bit more manageable. Not to mention there are ridiculous numbers of scholarships out there if you have the grades, athletic ability, work ethic, connections, or willingness to fill out the paperwork. bullsh#t. Yes, on average somebody with a college degree will make more money than someone without it. However, the number in the millions is ridiculous, it's much closer to $300,000. Economists at Princeton and the Federal Reserve agree. And the reason that the statistic doesn't matter either way is because it compares all degrees to all non-degrees. Who do you think is going to affect their side more? A doctor or a greeter at Wal-Mart? But are those two people comparable at all? No. Truth is that if you're somebody who is on the fence about what to do, don't know if you really have that many skills, and plan to earn some generic "sociology" degree, college will do nothing but cost money and take away 4 earning years. If you are smart and plan to get a well-respected degree then go to college. If not, you should seriously consider what value it is going to add to your life. Throw in the fact that the "extra" money is made at the end of your life, not the beginning. If you don't go to college, you'll make money now. If you go to college, you'll make more money, but in slow increments over time. The time value of money makes a huge difference in that. Also consider that loans might mess up your life. You could possibly delay purchasing a home or delay having children because of those suckers. Is it worth it? So you make the call. There are a ton of benefits to college. Just know that it's not always the right choice.

College is overrated. If you don't actually plan on getting a job related to the degree you earn (which a TON of people don't) then you're wasting time at college.

Not only that, but if they are a member of the team, or a trainer or some tertiary guy who doesn't like another player, that can skew the information. What we see on the field is the most reliable information. Anything else is going to be clouded by something. It may be a bit of a bland way of looking at things, but you don't get suckered into nonsense as much. That's my take on it. True, which is why I'll argue against you. The fans see on the field action 13 or 14 times a year, which is a pretty small sample size. If these sources come from somebody who knows what they're talking about, they probably are seeing these players in practice day in and day out. It's possible that a trainer or somebody unimportant would be biased in their information, but a post like that sounds more of a paraphrase of coaches comments. That information looks too detailed to be made up, and if it's biased I bet it's not by much. If it is completely made up, well, props to that guy. That's pretty creative.

Someone needs to try to keep track of all these "sources" posts and, a few months later, try to determine if they're right or not. Some posts, like this one, are a little bit harder to do, but we could still get an idea. My guess is that, more often than not, the "sources" are right. Not always, but more than they're wrong. Just what I've observed.

This is a stupid rule when you consider athletes get the required books for free then sell them at the end of the semester. So big whoop. Most of the time those "recommended" books are basically required anyway.
