so let me get this straight, he's been going to all sorts of camps, performing well and being ranked in the top 5 of the rb's and is now dropping in rb rankings? recruiting rankings make less and less sense.

There isn't one. But have you ever moved into a city, and said "hey, what's going on? What's there to do this weekend?" People transplant to Chicago and adopt the Cubs. Ditto for California and the Giants/Dodgers/Lakers/49ers/raiders. The Huskers are a thing in Lincoln. And if we're assuming NO ONE who's moving to Lincoln who doesn't have Nebraska ties (pretty ridiculous assumption) you would think maybe even some of them would buy tickets because hey, it's the thing to do. So I'm not really sure what you're arguing here. uh, no. if this were the case when i lived in phoenix then there should have been a helluva lot more cardinals and sun devils fans. they may take in a game or two but they dont buy season tickets. most of the transplants had teams they cheered for before moving and continue to do so after moving. complete irrationality to even assume increased population should mean increased ticket sales.

Bo should have this position covered. If mid-way through we find he doesn't, then that's a pretty serious problem IMO. It's only the most important position on the field...he should have it locked up. It's been the most predictable position to recruit for some time now. KU after reesing graduated.

dear lord. several of you need to get laid or something. this board is becoming unbearable to read. nitpicking every little thing that was said. twisting the words to fit what you want them to mean just to whine that things are they way you want them to be. and given the response to this will be "dont like it you dont have to read it", i think i will do just that.

funny clauses in contracts give you an idea of which jobs they are interested in. and didnt saban publicly say texas was the one job he'd leave bama for?

guess kids just cant be kids when "big time" sports are involved. dont see why he cant enjoy being a three sport star in high school. he already knows he'll have to pick one or the other in a short few months. and that cant be an enjoyable experience having to give up something you enjoy.

and if he were to leave after his sophomore year? or doesnt contribute until his junior or senior year? or transfers after his freshman year? shouldnt ever discount jucos they can have a tremendous affect on a program if used properly.

was it solich keeping them together or the fanbase forcing him to keep them together? we all know had he fired someone there would have been so many people calling for his head and questioning the replacement. he almost needed 7-7 to make the changes.

They do, it's just when they finally get to actually play them, they may not be ranked anymore. (Cal this year, Virginia Tech next year are excellent examples of that for OSU) just want to piggyback coqui's statement with a nebraska example. remember when nebraska played TCU during ladanian tomlinson's senior year? oh yeah, tcu backed out at the last minute. some of the scheduling is bad just because they have to play the lesser schools to get the home game. some of it is because of schools backing out. and didnt the B1G decide to not play any more fcs schools starting in the next couple years?
