Folks seem to be forgetting that we, like other programs, have been hiring handfuls of college coaches as non-coaching analysts. I’m sure in a pinch we can promote one of the analysts to full time coaching if we truly need someone in the spot.

GTFO, Trev has legitimate skins on his wall from his success at UNO. As much as people want to gig him for how all of the UNO changes went down (and understandably so), it seems Trev has learned from his mistakes and missteps (see: the Frost extension last year). If Trev pulled the trigger last season, the fanbase would have been split. By giving Frost enough rope to hang himself, he's got everyone on board with the firing (well, except for Frost) and looking forward (pulling in the same direction) with a long-term vision as the goal. Not saying Trev is perfect--just that he seems to be trying and is legitimately vested in DoNU's success. That's a far cry from Moos, Eichorst, Pedeyshine, $ Bill Byrne, or anyone we've had since Bob Devaney was day-drinking his way through being a figurehead AD.

I hate to say it, but I don't think Mickey gets the job, even if he wins a National Championship. He *should* get it if he can get us at least five or more wins... ...but let's be honest. Without delving into the Politics and Religion board discussions too far, Nebraska has some conservative "boosters of substance" that have problems with people of color. The racism isn't nearly as overt as, say, University of Texass' openly racist boosters, but they're there, and Trev has to kowtow to them.

This is what has come out of the woodwork since Severe went online. And yeah, Chinander was in Frost's wedding, but the relationship had supposedly become...acrimonious. EXACTLY. It was odd at the time for Trev to call that out and make sure what he was saying wasn't an indictment against Frost...but with all of this coming out, what Trev said kind of lends some credence to these allegations. Plus, wasn't there supposedly a (verbal) dust up after the Directional Georgia game between Trev and Scott? Seemed hard to believe at first, but in light of all of these other allegations...

We have numerous former coaches as analysts--I'm sure one of them could step in on the defensive side of things. Again, we're not asking for a Top 20 defense--merely a competent (Top 50, 60) one to help out the offense.

Okay...so what if Frost was late a few times? What should bother folks more are the allegations that: Duval's S&C put a kid in the hospital right away and hasn't been up to snuff his whole tenure. Frost continually blew off the Adidas NCAA rep (who is more important than ever in the era of NIL) and negatively impacted our relationship with Adidas Frost blew off recruiting calls which cost us recruits Frost didn't fix his program when kids being drafted were told the program was an impediment to their NFL hopes (see: numerous upper classmen transfers) Frost had personality issues with multiple assistants and couldn't stand being in the same room with them (including Chinander) These things, to me, are significantly more damning than tardiness.
