  1. LINK!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnatio...d=222#topOfList we're getting blown out...come on guys, this is NEBRASKA!
  2. Seriously. A few questions.... 1. What do "A/V and Tech Club", "Plan-It Husker", and possibly others have to do with "Husker Sports" forum heading? 2. Why do we have like 8,000 subforums, most of which aren't even used. Does everything have to be categorized so extensively? 3. Can we like have a contest, or just have the mods/admins redesign this please? Here's my suggestion. (This helps draw more attention to other sports tremendously) Husker Sports - Husker Football ---Subforum: Recruiting (not really fair to have football recruiting as it's own forum, although a lot of this isn't fair) - Husker Basketball (can be men's or both sexes, whichever you prefer) - Husker Volleyball (also, we're not the national champs anymore) - Husker Baseball - Other Husker sports (can be put into subforums if you want, but I really don't think it's necessary given the extremely small amount of threads you will see in here) - Former Huskers Misc. - Official BS Forum - A/V & Tech Club (i would suggest having one of the three forums be the default one, say the Computers/Games/Technology one, and then having the other two be subforums of it. it works better than having a forum with three subforums, but you can't post in the actual forum itself, if that makes sense.) - Misc. Sports (either make subforums based upon sport, or subforums based upon level 'college, high school, pro, etc.), not both, and not too many subforums) - Contest Crib - Classifieds - Woodshed - Feedback It's not too drastic, but I think it would work a lot better. Just my suggestion though.
  3. Let's have a contest for cheesiest nickname. THE REXECUTIONER!!!!!!
  4. Man get over yourselves. Don't you remember in '07 when college gameday would keep asking "when do you think Notre Dame is going to score a TOUCHDOWN!?" or when the ND/Mich game was coming up, how they joked about it being the lowest scoring game in the history of college football? You guys (not everyone of course) are so caught up in your own dillusions it's terrible.
  5. Tyler Hansborough plays his game, and plays it the right way. Not sure why people dislike him, except that he seems like he shouldn't be as good as he is, but that is just a testament to hard work.
  6. sounds like the altercation had something to do with an insult to the family or someone attacking a relative or something..
  7. and which of those top 10 teams is the most down on their luck since 2001?
  8. I think huskeraddict is on to something...
  9. make sure it's the right dimensions though good luck and let me know how it turns out, might inspire me to do the same thing.
  10. You could definitely make an argument for Nebraska being #1, but I doubt that we will end up there. I would say Alabama, Texas or Michigan would be #1, but I would say the top four spots are a toss up between us and those three schools. But I really don't know much.
  11. I won't say Helu without a doubt like some previous poster did, but it is absolutely his to lose and Castille will have to do some miraculous things to pass him on the depth chart. I don't know how much you guys remember of Helu running, but when I watched him you could just TELL that he deserved to be on that field more than Lucky or Castille. I don't know what it is, but something about him running the ball just made you think "dang...this guy is seriously freaking good". Also, take a look at the stats. Ever since he got the largest amount of reps (Oklahoma), he finished with 157 yards and a 9.8 average. Against Kansas he finished with 115 and a 7.2 average. Against K State he finished with 72 and a 5.5 average (and it could be argued that he would have had a much more productive day, if not for us destroying them and Ganz breaking free on a lot of option runs), and lastly against 166 yards with a 6.6 average. Those numbers are extremely impressive, no matter which way someone tries to spin them.
  12. I remember one costly fumble Lucky had against USC.... not sure what you're talking about.
  13. Stars sure as hell do matter. Especially to other recruits taking a look at our class.
  14. Postseason as in what? Playoffs, or an all-star game? Because he went all the way to the state championship game... Anyways, after having three or four conversations with the guy, I'm totally confident in saying that if there is any recruit to handle the ridiculous hype and expectations already put on him, and to be a team leader, it's going to be Cody. He reminds me in ways of Tom Osborne when we talk, even if you're not close or it's the first time ever meeting you feel like you go way back and he really cares about your well being.
  15. Whoever talked about Davidson only being known because of one miracle catch, you are sadly mistaken. Also, what BIG catches did Terrence Nunn make? He made some good ones, but I don't personally recall any huge or clutch catches when we really need them. Maybe I'm wrong.
  16. Last year, the East and West stadiums were assigned, and north and south were general admission.
  17. Hopefully things can go better for us next year.
  18. your new sig is freaking awesome and i'm going to steal the idea. thanks
  19. Huskers were right there. I think a combination of questionable calls or no-calls plus Iowa State hitting the tough shots when it counted did us in. That REALLY should have been an offensive foul on Bracken against Ade, and there should also have DEFINITELY been a foul called when Huluska was clearing Ade out of the lane so the guy could dunk. But, gotta give them credit, they won the game because they should have. They were better.
  20. To those arguing against people not showing up because of economy, the tickets are cheap sure, but gas and food aren't. Anyways, I still predict a sellout. Why wouldn't it sellout. Nebraska fans are a proud breed, and if we sold out last year, you can bet people are going to want to do it again. That, along with the offseason momentum which is going to be huge (remember how exciting preseason 2006 was?), plus Cody Green, equals up to another sellout in my book.
