    Something that hasn’t been mentioned is that Scott could just resign. I’m sure many people would cheer if that happens but I hope he gets one more year. However, he’s going to have to do some major housecleaning with his staff if allowed to return.

      He could resign but that might cost him his buyout payment depending on the contract language, which would be silly on his part.

      A mutual 'parting of the ways' could be an option, where the university agrees to pay a portion of his buyout if they both agree to go their separate ways. Presumably, the university could save a little cash, Frost could save a little face, and everybody wins.
