    One of Sioux City’s most recognized and loved icon, died two days ago which saddens me. She was 100 and was mostly known as a door greeter at Walmart and working at the Mall’s movie theater. RIP Mikki!!!

      RIP.  Incredible to hit 100 years.  Father inlaw hits 90 in a couple of weeks and i hope he makes it 10 more years.

      What’s incredible is that’s she stopped working when she was 97 or 99. That’s dedication and she was so nice and lovely to talk to. Always had a smile on her face. Hope your father in law makes it to beyond 100

      I think working so long must have been good for her longevity- seems like the busier older folks are, the longer they live.  Sense of purpose is important.
