Milwaukee or DeWalt? Which brand do you prefer?

I've been looking at these for a while. The local store sells both brands. I honestly think both are good. It's more of a matter that once you start with one brand, you want to stay with it so the batteries are interchangeable. So, when you start with one, make sure they have all the tools you will ultimately want to use those batteries on.

Something to keep in mind is that just two companies make like 2/3 of the brands you see in stores.
Milwaukee, Ryobi, Ridgid (Home Depot), and Craftsman models sold at Sears and K-Mart are all made by the same company.
Dewalt, Black & Decker, Porter-Cable, and Craftsman models sold at Lowe's and other stores are all made by the same company.

Personally, I think if you don't need contractor-grade stuff, the Ryobi One+ system is the best value. And of course there's always Harbor Freight for those "I'm only going to use this once or twice" items.
