The Plus 1 (or final four, in effect) is the most sensible solution and it seems like it is what we're moving towards. I think what's being referred to is 'status quo' being off the table at this time.

I think basically, unless the conference presidents really flame out on this, that we're at a four-team playoff, in essence, with the only real discussion being where the games will be played, how the teams are selected, and how the monies are divied up.

The BCS is dead!? So...I am assuming new systems currently in discussion!? Or...is there already a new system in place?
