    Nebraska & San Jose St won their bowl games & finished 6-7. Have any other teams won their bowl game and finished with a losing record? That's got to be rare, right?

      I'm sure these are the first since no other teams probably ever made a bowl game at two games under .500

      Had to look it up, the 1963 SMU team was the only other previous team to make a bowl at two games under .500, but they lost their game.
