      If I were to open a breakfast cafe, with all my skill as an egg, bacon, potato, cheese & batter cook, and I had all the world to name my dishes after, I kinda think I'd have to have a bit of a reason to name an innocuous breakfast food after a traitor.

    Just went to Walmart, they closed at 4:30 and had barricaded up the doors.  Hy Vee closing at 6:30.  I think Target was closed all day.  These were all west O locations.

      It's just bizarre that someone makes an odd claim, someone asks - in a kind way - where'd you hear that? and it becomes someone's issue.

       

      Someone tells you in a bar "Aksarben is on fire and being shut down" you're going to ask, "Where'd you hear that?" and that shouldn't be an issue.

       

      People are too easily offended these days.

      @ColoradoHusk People ask for sources because stuff is made up on the internet all the time. You can't take things at face value, and as we've seen a MILLION times right here on HuskerBoard, things are frequently not what they are purported to be.

       

      It's annoying when people won't provide a source. Why wouldn't you?

      "Aksarben?" There hasn't been an Aksarben in Omaha for years. That region is a shopping center and Baxter Arena. There are no news reports of fires there right now. Where are you seeing this?
