I would definitely, definitely take the Fiesta Bowl over a Cotton Bowl. I mean it's not really even close. And ever since Nebraska had fun in the Fiesta in the past it's always been my favorite of the bowl games.

ISU should have beaten us. See what I did there. You can't base your vote on shouldas. Oregon has dominated all year. They got lucky last night. The polls don't really matter. As long as we don't lose, we are going to the fiesta bowl and playing PITT. ISU should have beaten us and we dropped in the polls because of it.

the video looked good, didn't hear it too well from the south student section but. I thought it was a classy move by the Athletic Deparment and glad they did it. shows respect and gratitude.

I want to see Niles Paul do well every game. Did a good job against Kansas. Just needs to keep doing what he's doing. I think his big play potential comes not necessarily with touchdowns but in the big gains. Getting us the yards in key situations to keep drives going. He has the speed definitely just like knapplc said. We will see if he can pull off a Purify. GO BIG RED!!!

not surprised at all to see him get fired, maybe a surprise to be fired with only a few weeks remaining though. why not just have him finish out the season?

this is not looking good at all for Newton and Auburn. I can't see him getting himself out of all this. If he does win the Heisman be prepared to give it back in a few years.

well last time we played at College Station at night we won so I don't think it really matters. Yes I would agree intensity goes up with a night game but like some posters said if we want to be at the top we need to win in big game situations. Just means all the more if we win this one then. We're on the Big 12 tour might as well leave our mark on College Station as well. GO BIG RED!!!!!

The biggest problem isn't the style of defense, but it is our boom-or-bust offense. We can bust off short drives that result in scores which causes a problem, or we can just as easily get 3-and-outs quite often. ToP is hard to control when your offense goes about its business the way we do. I agree totally. We need to keep our offense of the field enough to get our defense some breathing time. When our offense goes on the long drives it really does alot for our defense. When we go three and out though it only hurts us. Ball control is key.

He has to be a great motivator. Gets his kids to play full bore. They knew they could win today and almost pulled it off. Crowd was in it definitely.

I agree on the Burkhead facemask, Helu's fumble was tough to tell, I do believe that ISU did get that ball across the goal line. I think that calls aren't out to get against but I think its just poor officiating.

great game Cyclones! Rhoads is a great coach and definitely has the program on the upswing. Lots of guts in that call. Hats off to ISU and wish the program the best in the future an hope they make some noise in the conference next year.

i think its got to be geographic. i don't see how else you're gonna do. american and national is not original, and any name like stars and stripes is just a bit silly. Maybe the Big Ten Plains Division and the Big Ten Mountain Division if we want to go geographic but not the typical East/West? Idk, this one takes some thought...

Good game plan by Watson. When something wasn't working he went in a different direction when is good to see. Glad to see more passing. Martinez looked great in the pocket. Really gave the kid a chance to succeed today.

I say a game ball to the receiving corp. They took alot of heat this week but came out and played like men. There is no excuse to what some fans were saying after Texas and now our guys definitely deserve the credit.

I think that it was good for Tom to send out the email. Reminds people how Husker fans are suppose to act. I mean we all want to win this game bad, but we want to stay classy, "if we shall win, let it be by the code".

I think the 12 days before KSU will serve this team well. the mentality needs to change in that time. we aren't gonna be handed anything. anyone can beat anyone in this age of college football so you gotta be prepared every week. lets hope Bo gets that through to the boys this next stretch of practice.

I'm not completely freaking out. I mean yes it was dissappointing but we won. I think this was a good game for NU in the point that it wakes the team up. Makes me them remember they have to work for everything they get. Work starts now.
