  1. Looks sketchy, doesn't have an iPhone app, and apparently has some kinda multi-level marketing scheme associated with it? Hard pass.
  2. Wait... they're making a movie version of this classic?
  3. Apparently it's supposed to be the MCU's first horror movie. Will still be PG-13, though.
  4. Riley had the system for a s#!tty NFL team and the personality for a Pop Warner league team.
  5. If I had to choose, I'd take Callahan over Riley. Maybe the second time around, he could pick a halfway-decent DC. But of course, if I were actually the AD...
  6. I'm sure Colorado got enough of a look at it last year. I'm not worried about the Colorado game this year. Last year, we were the better team on the field for about 55 minutes of the game, and it wasn't particularly close. But boy, did we ever stink up the place in those other five minutes...
  7. And in the early 00s, we might have been able to grab Urban, if we didn't fire 9-win coaches...
  8. What if we'd had a competent AD from 2002-2007?
  9. Your IP address doesn't change from using a wifi hotspot - whatever your phone's IP address is is also what outside websites and services will see it as. I'd say more likely what's happening is that they're using a crappy geolocation service. I live in Austin, but sites' geolocation often thinks I live in Houston, over 150 miles away. When I lived in Wichita, they thought I was in Kansas City or even Minneapolis.
  10. I'm not saying it was Pederson, but it was Pederson.
  11. Really? How do they even detect that? I've used my phone's hotspot as my primary internet connection for ages and never had a problem like that.
  12. Hum, a coach who won some division titles but never a conference championship as most significant on your list, and a coach who won some division titles but never a conference championship at his current school as least significant on your list. Just to toss some numbers out... Solich: 58-19 at UNL (.753), 164-94 overall as HC (.636) Pelini: 67-27 at UNL (.713), 94-49 overall as HC(.657) Solich: 3 division titles in 6 seasons at UNL, 1 championship, 7 division titles in 20 seasons overall Pelini: 4 division titles in 7 seasons at UNL, 0 championships, 4 division titles in 11 seasons overall "Solich hasn't even won a MAC title. Not sure why so many people think he would have done any better here." "Pelini hasn't even won a Missouri Valley title. Not sure why so many people think he would have done any better here." I don't think it's implausible that Solich could have won at least a division title in 2004 or 2005. Maybe even a last-second championship game controversy in one of them...
  13. So true! Back in the 80s and 90s a coach couldn't text their players at all hours of the night and expect a prompt response, they had to save their berating for when the player was actually at practice or on the field!

And yet we still have '+1' and 'Slightly Different +1'.
  15. Has Good Omens on Amazon not been mentioned here? It should be. Miniseries based on a novel by Terry Pratchett and Niel Gaiman, starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant. About an angel and a demon involved in a mixup with the rise of the Antichrist and the end of the world, which they've grown rather fond of...
  16. @schriznoeder @Redux @Enhance etc: I mentioned this was coming a few months ago, and now they're starting to roll it out. Prime Video is on Chromecast, and YouTube is on Fire TV. Or at least some Fire TVs - I've got a first-gen Fire TV, but they haven't released the updated YouTube app for that yet. Sounds like there's a few others that are still 'coming soon'. https://blog.google/products/chromecast/prime-video-chromecast-android-tv-youtube-fire-tv/
  17. ^ This is the article that quote is from: https://247sports.com/college/nebraska/Article/Nebraska-football-Huskers-quarterback-Adrian-Martinez-Heisman-candidate--133265324/
  18. Had to look up Towson. According to their Twitter account, they were 2013 FCS runners up!
  19. @Danimal Yeah, that's mostly a myth. https://web.archive.org/web/20091214165657/http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/stories/083006dnspobaylortcusf.4bf22e33.html
  20. Texas Tech is the only other one that the state might care about - Baylor and TCU are private schools. Honestly, I don't think this stuff is as big of a deal as people make it out to be. There might be a bit of grumbling in the state capitols, but I doubt you'd see any real intervention.
  21. Texas? (Even though it would benefit me personally - I live in Austin and would have more chances to watch the Huskers.)
