Did they ever? The guys who were on the team for that Purdue game, particularly - if they hadn't bought in by that point, do you think they ever really did? I suspect that a lot of the defense never really bought into either coordinator. I'm sure some players bought into individual position coaches like K. Williams. As for Riley and opinions of the staff as a whole? I think for a lot of the players, their buy-in was tenuous at best. Feeling good after a win, sure, but not enough to keep the faith long-term. And it had nothing to do with Bo and everything to do with Riley's complete failure to take control of his team after three years.

How often do they change that, compared to how often they change it in the stadium? I'd imagine the practice fields see more use, but they probably care more about how the stadium's field looks.

The way he worded it almost makes me wonder if he might hand them out to individuals, rather than the group. Like if there's one guy that Frost really feels has earned it, he's the one that gets it.

Kirk Schulz was previously K-State's president, and they're not exactly a big-time athletic department. Anyone remember hearing any reports like this out of K-State? From what I heard, Schulz seemed to be pretty well liked there. Then again, it may have been a culture of 'Grandpa Snyder is willing to work for cheap, so let's not spend any money'...

There were some reports that Moos had been butting heads with the higher-ups at Washington State before he left. Guess now we know why...
