    Buying a new house, lender says I have a dispute on my account(a tmobile account that was actually my fathers who died 5 years ago and not me) and they want me to remove the dispute or they cant complete my loan...Such stupidity these credit reporting agencies.

      I'd just pay it to move on. My last home-buying experience was a big annoying mess too and it's just not worth it.
