  1. I think it would be interesting to see him go up against his brother here and spank their hind quarters. That would be icing on the cake:)
  2. I agree that we are headed in the right direction, but in regards to making adjustments - Dr. Tom was a genius in that regard, and Bo is still learning. If you looked at the 1st half verses the 2nd half numbers when Osborne was coach, I bet there is a huge difference. Like I said, Bo is still on the learning curve, but he is getting there quickly. I don't care if you like Bo, or you don't like him, you have to be impressed with what he has been able to do with this team. It is like night and day between the first game and the last game of the season. I realize every team should be better at the end of the season, but these guys were so far behind the curve that they looked like a bunch of freshmen fresh out of high school that first game. By the end of the season, they had confidence, and played like they knew what they were doing. I agree whole heartedly.
  3. Cy you made me shoot coffee through the nose, you owe me a new keyboard.
  4. Anyone want to take bets on him riding the pine at North Alabama as well?
  5. You failed to mention that he played both ways at NU and you failed to mention that there were 2 Pat Fischer's that played at NU. I'll let that slide though because I cheated and looked them up. Also since I was born in 1974 I don't remember these guys so I guess that makes me a young punk. Wow and to think I thought I was one of the older ones on here. Fischer, Pat - (Omaha, Neb.) - HB - 1958-59-60 Fischer, Pat - (Lincoln, Neb.) - DB - 1972-73 http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SP...p;Q_SEASON=1960 Ha...I have socks older than you. damn old people and their packrat lifestyle. I was born in 76 so he probably has underwear older than me. Nope...I rarely wear underwear. The women prefer it that way Cy, sorry brother, but that thought disturbs me. Probably turning on the squids right now though.

  7. When they ran the no huddle and ran it right, Florida couldn't stop them. It seemed they kept slowing it down once it got going though. One play would go off quickly then when it looked like they were ready again, Bradford would step back and look at the coaches, definitely didn't play the same offensive style they did during the season. Just my .02 of course maybe someone else noticed as well. Sorry for being off topic. He's got speed, lets use it to our advantage at LB, good luck to the kid.
  8. Sorry to see the kid go, but he has to do what's best for him. Good luck to him.
  9. Not to mention, they receive all money for anything he does, like write a book about Wyoming. I saw that clause and I thought to myself WTF. How can they assume someone would agree to terms giving TTU the rights to say a book that has nothing to do with TTU or coaching? The AD at TTU is a friggin moron and I think he wants Leach gone, there is no other reason for such clauses.
  10. Yes that is the part that caught me the most(even without the bolded word). Atta boy Mike, atta boy. It sounds like if NU offered he'd never take another visit. He's a bit small but so was Sproles, i say keep looking at the kid.
  11. Sorry mitch, do a search as this was already posted about a week ago. We've had a nice convo going in it.
  12. Seems that a lot of the talk from their fans point at Briles. I don't see him leaving Baylor, but as I said it is just talk.
  13. Or from the movie The Program....Lattimer was one bad dude with the way he painted his face up! As long as he didn't practice the spit thing of course. By far one of the nastiest things i've ever seen in a movie.
  14. I'm just going to say this is a dumb idea, and mmmtodd stated it quite well. On a side note I stopped being a Cowboys fan the day they signed that dirty cokesucker Owens.
  15. Pre Season rankings kind of irritate me. They are fun to see where whomever ranks your team, but other than that, they are completely and utterly worthless. I can't wait until next season just like everyone else but these ranking are a waste of time this early in the year. just my .02
  16. ganz. because callahan robbed him and us My opinion exactly
  17. Class is looking good, if JPP changes his mind and goes with us even better. This is the beginning of some very good years ahead on the recruiting front.
  18. I finally got a chance to see the De La Salle game on TV here in Vegas today during halftime of the SB. He does have a strong arm when it comes to short routes. He will probably get a chance to see if he could be a QB but I think he doesn't have what Green has(mind you according to video's i've seen and the 1 full game for Martinez). It could be interesting and Martinez is quite the athlete. He took some shots in the game and dished out his own hits as well. I think with his ability he would be best on the defense, then again I am not a coach. Good luck to the kid, I can see he'll work hard and do whatever is needed of him, even if it is to move to another position other than QB.
  19. Welcome Aboard Eric. From the film he will fit in nicely with the coveted blackshirts.
  20. Adding Eric Martin as per Rivals he is ours. Helping out Pete to keep this updated as well.
  21. I feel sorry more for HuskerinOKC myself, he's a cubs fan. I guess he'll find out what i've been dealing with the last 2 years of Aaron Heilman and the Mets. As for the story, we'll never know both sides, so nothing to worry about or make an opinion about.
  22. 3 Sessions here at UNLV. Sounds painful none the less.
  23. Could be a monumental sign if he would choose us. I wish him luck either way and hope he makes the best decision for himself.
