Not according to recent mock drafts, see my post a few weeks ago; It's really hard to project out baseball drafts especially this far, but the latest mock draft I have seen show him going 30th overall to the Red Sox, just for context, last year the 30th overall pick was a high school shortstop who signed and got a 1.9m signing bonus. (Which was a bit above the "slotted amount" mlb recommends) I have seen another mock draft that has him missing the first round. So I would say we would have a better chance of.getting him than bubba who was a lock as a top 5 pick. Bubba was no chance. Monte is little chance. I concur

I would guess CJax goes back to corner either way. But I agree that I'd REALLY like Gerry to be a starting safety next year. Not the right thread for this but I really liked Leroy and cooper at safety this year.

Dline will be sick next year. We will go 2 or 3 deep at each position. Thick in the middle and athletic on the edges.

I just think they get sick and tired of convincing their players and recruits that they aren't fired. If I get sick and tired of reading it everyday, then I could only imagine how it wears on them.

I would really like to see CJax mold into Ciante's spot for next year. He is physically enough, will just come down to the mental side of things. Nickel is the hardest position mentally to grasp on the defense and we are going to start c jax there who has had trouble picking up corner and safety. It would surprise me if he started there next year. I could see Gerry move to nickel though
