When will TO weigh in on all of this? If he says nothing, doesn't that tell us he doesn't support it? But if he talks, people will just read into it what they want. Thoughts?

As a Husker fan, I am into defense and recall with great joy the option game of the 1990s. However, when I play NCAA, I run the spread offense and use the feature of the game that allows me to skip defensive possesions. Strange? Because I sure think so.

After a caller told Pelini that he is “becoming the show” with his sideline demeanor and that it needs to change, there was a long pause before Pelini responded: “OK. Appreciate the info.”

Bo did fine with this answer. I think the other guy that questioned the direction of the program is where he probably went wrong. How do you diffuse that? Easy. Say, thanks for calling in. I appreciate the passion you have for Nebraska football. We are all disappointed in how the game turned out. And we are working to get better. I know the guys would appreciate your continued support. We are going to do everything in our power to fix it.

I am trying to get excited about the game on Saturday. So far nothing....I guess I will keep trying

Mike Matheny is such a colossally incompetent manager it makes my head spin.
-
The fact that Todd Gurley is receiving more Heisman votes than Ameer is absurd.
-
Can we play the game of who do you want as the next HC at Nebraska?

Just offering a clarification on my comments about Jason Peter. I am not saying he is wrong. And I am not saying he is 100 percent right. And I am not offended. But it seems that if all his points are true, then it seems almost impossible to fix in season and we should thus prepare for a bumpy ride from here on out..

Is there any way to get Jason Peter on the coaching staff? The guy is a flippin genius
-
Peter says we have no leadership. Ameer and Tommie were in shock. He aid our o-line played like garbage. He struggled to find any positives. He basically painted the o line as incapable even with a 7-3 advantage in bodies. He wasn't even all that impressed with the D. And we all thought that was good. Then he says, put it all together and we will be fine. Let's put this garbage, no leadership, soft, weak, non committed team and go win the title. Oh, and Gregory is a wuss who is alergi...

Cue the Price Is Right loser music in Eugene. #exposed

Would love this if Arizona pulls it off.

oregon sucks who can we steal

Maybe it's just the shell shock talking, but it's reall hard for me to go all N for a Husker win on Saturday. I am thinkng we get beat and possibly even in a lopsided game. I am probably just guarding against disappoointment, but the doubts are definitely there. Anybody feeling the same?
-
In my humble opinion, if you're not excited about Husker football the you're what I call a fair weather fan and I don't want to hear from you again when we are doing well and all of a sudden you're all jacked up again.

Will Michigan State beat Oregon?

I'm so glad Brent Musberger is done with primetime games. He's such a Texas/SEC homer

Saw Guardians of the Galaxy last night. It was outstanding.

Anyone ever just sit down and eat an entire package of Oreos?

@danhoppen Kenny Bell just revealed he played most of last year with a messed up collarbone. Couldn't lift left arm above hip after game days. || This is a gripe. If he's injured, tell us. We find out about a lot of in-season injuries in the off season. Just tell us a guy is hurt and watch a lot of the grief they get go away. Make things easier.
-
Kenny might not have played perfectly. But I don't have a problem with his production at all. That TD catch against Mich State where he pretty much gave up his body falling straight down on his back and still hung on to the ball...guy has some serious game and guts. I would not question his want to.

Guys, I'm so ready for fall Saturdays. You have no idea.

Nebraska is soliciting applications from students who want to work as a DJ at football practice.

Prayers and respect go put to the greatest sports team owner in history, Mr. Pat Bowlen, owner of the Denver Broncos. He is stepping aside due to his battle with Alzheimer's Disease. I've watched this man run that team since I was a little boy. He did a hell of a job and it really is hard to see him have to step away because of this. Much respect.

To me it seems Armstrong, Janovich, Abdullah-Cross would be great personnel for the ol' Osborne offense.

I hope the Bengals release Rex. He'll be a really good player once he gets a chance. Aint gonna happen in that crap organization.
