It's a stroll in the park compared to the CDT. I've been thinking about doing that or the AT or PCT.

I could probably just do the CT in a month without having to quit my job.. Also considering the John Muir Trail.

I'm more of a short day hike person. Haven't done any trails over about 4 hours. We did snowmobile about 60 miles of the CDT on New Years Day about 20 years ago. Between Grand Lake and Hwy 14 at Sleeping Elephant mountain. I wouldn't recommend hiking it in January 

Looks like most people do the John Muir thru-hike in 3 weeks.   So that's probably more realistic.

4-6 weeks to complete the Colorado Trail.  I'd probably be closer to 6 weeks.  Heh
