The Dude

There has been a failure by the media to realize the difference between what we need to know and what we want to know. Moreover, they have conflated intriguing news with news that is entertaining or, worse, entertainment news.

Pure entertainment. 

I get the point.  But with the "linked in" society we have, a 1 hour news broadcast over dinner won't cut it.....

The "editorials" need to be done carefully, but there really is a lot of important news that can't be compressed into a "Washington segment".  Maybe it's just the current climate, but our President tweets non stop; the news couldn't keep up with one hour a day...And there is a lot of other things to talk about besides Tweets.

Someday, we may be normal again...
