I get that but we already have Pettaway, Pitchford, Shields to play the "2,3,4". I'm assuming Smith will start at the 5 so unless he takes over for Webster/Parker at the point he's going to start out backing up someone.
I agree with you WIU. We are set at the 2,3,4. We just need a point and another big to step up. Smith and that new guy from GTown will split time there.
I think Pettaway could play PG in a pinch but thats not where we want him to play. All of this discussion about depth is definitely a good problem to have though. Can't say it has been that way in the past.
