In California, you don't do time for driving with a suspended license, but you lose your car for thirty days and get stuck with the tow/storage fees..

I think he is a great head coach and recruiter, but I don't believe he's a great play-caller... He has all the qualities of a great head coach: recruiting, charisma, leadership, can put together a great staff... All the problems USC had this year and he still posted a winning record and a bowl win...

I'd have to agree with you on your predictions this year... I can't wait for the season to start again...

We could accept that we play several 'rivals' year in and year out (i.e. Kansas, Mizzu, Colorado, and alternate between Texas and Oklahoma)... maybe we should add one tough game in the non-conference time like an Ohio State, or USC, or something like that once in a while.... We're off to a good start with Washington...

When do the tickets usually go on sale?

While I still believe the '95 Huskers are the best team of all time, I think the competition and parity did not exist in that time, as it does now... Back then you had a handful of guarenteed conference champions. Now it's anybodys game because everyone has great players and everyone has great coaches. Have we won a National Championship or Conference Championship? No. Can we compete with the best teams in the nation? Yes. Do teams now fear the Blackshirts? Yes. Do teams come to Lincoln expecting a win? No. I believe we are back. The competition is a lot stiffer, so I don't expect an undefeated season (especially with the parity in the Big 12). My definition of "back" is simple: We can compete with anyone, anywhere; And we are feared by those who have to play us.

It was fun.. great people, BBQ and Beer Pong... Myself and my fellow cop/ Ohio State fan went 5-0 and won the 2009 Holiday Bowl Beer Pong Championship.

I'm glad they made it and dumped the dirtbag... I had a guy run at me with a long, neon "marital aid" in his hand once... Didn't mistake it for a gun and dropped him with the taser... I definitely did not know where he had been, and I wasn't going to touch him...

I'm for the Big 10, but I like change... I'd rather go to the Rose Bowl every year than the Fiesta Bowl... As far as recruiting goes, Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan all recruit well, even without the Holy Land of Texas... We would dominate in almost every sport, and probably be in the conference championship every year.... I know that's basically what we have here, but with the Big 12 turning into the SW conference, we need to do something...

Looking ahead to what our strengths are and who we've recruited, it appears like we're recruiting old school TO-style recruits... Power I/Option types on offense and hard-nosed blue-coller nutbags on defense... maybe the regime change is in progress and we just can't see it....

I think he's just adapting to what he has, talent-wise... Lee didn't amount to be what Watson thought, and Green needed the playing time to get better... I think Watson likes to mix it up a lot, and not stick to one philosophy... Seems like he is finding his play-calling niche and will use the I backs we have, combined with Green next year to make a nice balanced power offense....

I think his mind was already made up beforehand, and he wasn't expecting Colt to get rocked by us... Can't hold it against him for having an opinion, but if he's going to justfiy it, he needs to not contradict himself throughout his explaination...

That's awesome! I don't know how you handled that kind of closeness with our guys without nearly fainting... I thought I was going to pass out, or get knocked out when my Dad coerced me into chasing down Suh in the street to get his autograph....
