Glad to hear Wiscy fans making friends wherever they go.

I didn't know they beat a #7 team just last year. I remember the times USC got upset (vaguely) and how crazy that was.

I listened to all of it, but the Aaron Semm segment says so much.

They get a little technical at one part, but if you just listen to theme and let them explain it, it all makes sense.

I'm sure there are inmates err NFL players who had no idea what that was all about. It's such a waste of time trying to figure out right from wrong anyway.

More than a few DJs were insisting (no govt = no fcc) so they were swearing up a storm (while bleeping themselves just in case)

JJ--people like yourself that act like you don't know that these monuments would be closed, that's who. This wasn't unexpected and makes perfect sense to those that have any.

mattmg- People with common sense should wonder why they would go out of their way, at additional expense, to block access to monuments that otherwise do not have any access limitations. Our tax dollars paid for those monuments yet, becaue the govt is "shut down", they want to make it as painful as possible for the citizens. At least that is what people with common sense think. Maybe you should try using that part of your brain.

I guess I don't know if it counted or not. Just thought it was cool.

As long as the ball is snapped/handed backwards in a continuous motion it's all legal.

      The Dude

Yes it's legal. It's been done numerous times in high school football for several years now. I'm surprised it still works.

I doubt it's going to be that high-scoring, but I'd take the result...if I knew I wasn't going to have a heart attack watching something like that

Yes I thought the same thing Foppa. I see no way it goes to a high scoring game, unless it's Denver doing all the scoring. What a game it would be if it went like that. As a Tecmo Bowl fan, I loved the video though.

This song has always just hit me. Anybody else ever heard this one? Oldie but goodie in my book.

Wow. Nuance props to you. I honestly didn't think there was a single person on this site who would like that song.

I was not a fan in the beginning. I have to admit, I've come around and gained some respect for this young man. I think this year is going to make a statement.

Was just a little too young for the teams in the 90s/00s to get really emotionally invested. That night was the best I ever felt as a husker fan. Really thought we were going places that year.

And the more regulated it becomes, the less it resembles the game. You can't tell me the product you see today remotely resembles the product 15-20 years ago. A lot has changed, all very quickly. As the competitive nature of the game suffers, the passion of the fans will dry up a bit.

It can't be stopped though, the game is going to continue to evolve being driven by money, there's nothing that fans have done wrong, it's just kind of a sad inevitability. CFB will be vastly different in 10-20 years.

For me the game experience is not nearly as fun as it used to be. Stopping play so the tv commercial can sell tires and telephones and the constant loud music is annoying.

  2. "I'll openly question the hiring of respected coaches with 70+ years on their resume', but when Ohio St. hires Tim Beck, an OC with 4 years experience with a record of inconsistency, well that's an instant home run hire.
