I guess I didn't understand Landlords point, that's why I didn't really comment towards is point. Is it to say that those players are somehow not good or going to be good because they were committed to Georgia Southern and Memphis before they came to us. Because if that was his point, I'd disagree. It means nothing.

Well, I'm headed out there guys. Probably be in it for about 10-12 hours. I got a better set of gloves this time. Last snow it took me three weeks to get the numbness out of three of my fingers.

We had between 6-8 inches of snow I believe. The way the wind was blowing it was a foot deep in some spots. I just got back home. It's damn cold out there now and my face is ready to fall off. I used a snowblower. A large one actually. Still, with four guys and about 25 places to snowblow, it takes some time.

These Husker football coaches have to be exhausted. Gotta respect the commitment and the effort from the new staff.

I try to get into Nebrasketball more. I try to catch the games when I can. I put this one on and they score 18 points in a freaking half? Geezus. It's not just this game either. These guys look like they just don't know how to put the ball in the hoop all the time.

Highly recommend the movie Unbroken. It's the story of WWII Prisoner of War Louie Zamperini. Amazing story.

Charles Jackson is cleared to participate fully for spring. I'm rooting for this guy big time. I can't wait to see him on the field.

Gary Kubiak? Really Elway? .....I was hoping for more of a SPLASH hire......like Eugene Levy or Daryl Hannah.

Can anyone explain to me why Nebraska could lose two DE commits in the upcoming weeks? The position is wide open for someone to come in and make an impact. Then considering one of the guys is a home state prospect? Do these guys not want to play immediately? Is it a question of their work ethic or what's up with it?
-
Well, Neal seems keen on checking out some other places and Jones just wants to have fun. It is what it is -- new staff, not all the recruits will be able to be retained.
I don't follow enough, hopefully there are some decent backup options. DE recruiting being an issue has already been a glaring one going back a couple years. Even these two guys are only 3 stars. Not that it's bad to be a 3 star.

I would swallow my pride, I would choke on the rinds But the lack thereof would leave me empty inside I would swallow my doubt turn it inside out Find nothin' but faith in nothin'

Would we call this a SPLASH commit?
-
Wow. What a huge commitment today. One of the best offensive linemen in the country coming to play for the Big Red. Awesome.

“What is the meaning of life?” The answer is that you don’t get to ask the question. Life is the one who asks and we must reply with our actions.

You hear that? They lose nothing off this team........GREAT!

Wow. Denver is going from perrenial Super Bowl contender to complete rebuild mode. Broncos lose a lot off the roster and now their HC. John Fox did a damn good job. Pretty surprised by this.

Sources say Manning played with torn right quad muscle. IMO, and I'm no NFL coach, but if a guy is demonstrating that he is to capable of helping your team win, then I don't care if he's Peyton f'ing Manning, the coaches owe it to the rest of the team to give them the best opportunity to win. Osweiler should've atleast been given a chance.

I don't think any of them looked as ineffective as Manning did though. Rodgers was a ke to start turning it on in the second half. Credit Manning for trying to gut it out, but he never looked effective.
They kept getting away from the run all year. Finally the loss to the Rams where we threw 50 times and ran 15, finally raised some concerns but then Manning just gets all pass happy during spurts in games. 46 passes? Terrible game management.

Blown call. That call just decided the Cowboys season. I'm not a Cowboys fan but the reciever didn't maintain the ball but he did retain control in the endZone. The ball was never incomplete. That's the problem. The ball was never incomplete. The ball bounced up back into his arms. It could have easily been ruled a touchdown.

You have to view the entire action as the catch not just the physical possession. That's why you're interpreting it differently. If Dez caught the ball while laid out and the ball hit the ground and moved like it did, it would be incomplete. So the actual incident was just an elongated catch like the example.

What a glorious day for some Playoff football. GO BRONCOS!

"I'll openly question the hiring of respected coaches with 70+ years on their resume', but when Ohio St. hires Tim Beck, an OC with 4 years experience with a record of inconsistency, well that's an instant home run hire.

Alright refs, this is an NFL playoff game......the guys might do a little trash talking and there may be some dudes a bit fired up. This game isn't about you, it's about them.
