    Watched some basketball games from last year. Anyone else getting the thought that Gallegos has turned out to be one hell of a loss? Man, that's one guy that could knock down outside shots. As bad as the Smith and Abraham loss seem to be, Gallego's ability to stretch the floor and make defenders respect his shot is sorely missed as a #3 right now.

      To me with Tai it seems like a mental thing more than anything. He just doesnt wanna pull the trigger. Now Parker has come along some, but until these guys decide to start puttin it up and become legit threats, (Tarrin Smith as well), defenders are gonna continue to sag, makin it tough for Shield and Petteway to get to the rim as they were a year ago.

      It's the biggest difference, Ray allowed Nebraska to play a half court offense, which is bad without a 3 point specialist. That is spot on analysis

      I go back to that Wisconsin game last year. Gallegos and Pitchford each hit a 3 on their first looks i believe. After that, having to get out on Gallegos, and the goofy big guy and the other lanky fella of Wisconsin having to play that much closer to Pitch just blew the lanes wide open. Remember the hayday that Shields and Petteway had getting to the rim. Now this year, a presence of Abraham and/or Smith along with Pitchford getting hot will go along way in alleviating our current issues...
