    After watching and analyzing, theres no amount of clock management or decision making that woulda prevented illinois from moving down the field in the manner that they did. At the end of the day, Gerry let a man behind him in the closing seconds. They gained 50+ yards in one play.

      Sure it does. Time is a factor. We don't know if the same thing happens given different circumstances.

      They had no timeouts. This game was over if Nebraska keeps the ball on the ground a few more times, especially on that third down and then punts. Defense played well all game. Can't put it on them. the playcalling and the offensive game plan was horrendous.
