  1. The fact that some people are putting their faith in a washout from Tulane doesn't instill much confidence for next year.... +1 for Calvin, but the sentiment is misplaced.
  2. The fact that some people are putting their faith in a washout from Tulane doesn't instill much confidence for next year.... Tanner is far from a wash up qb. He's transferring because the knew coaching staff runs the option. He could've transferred anywhere and will be the one of the most effective qbs we've had in a long time His passing statistics were worse than Armstrong's were, in a weaker conference. Kid may start by default, but don't expect "effective" off the bat.

  4. The problem here is two-fold: Utter cannot play at this level under any circumstances, and previous recruiting efforts on the O-line were terrible. He's been embarrassed multiple times over the past two seasons, but we have no one who can replace him.
  5. Luke, use the force..... if that was a designed run play...why were all the blockers backing up? was it suppose to be a pass play and tommy decided to run? Draw play.....
  6. I'm having an awfully difficult time getting Riled up today.

  7. This is pretty much spot on. We were hitting above our weight for awhile, doing well, and Ohio State put us back in our place. This can still be a great season; 10-2 is nothing to sneeze at, particularly given last year. But none of our end goals are attainable at this point, so the feeling of the "air being let out of the balloon" is natural.
  8. There's a hot chance that this already swole recruiting class blows up before signing day.
  9. Lee petitioned the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility and he actually received it. He has 2 seasons of eligibility left (2017 and 2018). From what I heard, POB was pretty pissed off after Lee was given that extra year in 2018, and POB was upset that the coaching staff was pushing so hard for Lee to get that year of eligibility. I know nothing of POB personally, but this is a normal human reaction, particularly at his age. I would not be surprised if Lee wins the job next year, that POB moves on (particularly if he plays this year and still has a RS).
  10. At this point, I think they're all in for protecting POB's redshirt, and Darlington would take snaps if something happened to Fyfe. That is not what Riley has stated. Recently?
  11. Starting to get a little Riled....

  12. Save your money and just play MW2, or MW3, or BLOPS, or BLOPS 2.
  13. He got another year; he's eligible for 2 years past this one. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/football/transfer-quarterback-tanner-lee-granted-additional-year-of-eligibility/article_84d4a3ec-61bd-11e6-b08b-7fa67954a7f3.html I would be willing to venture a healthy guess that at least one of POB, Gebbia and Lee won't be at Nebraska in 2018.

  15. I'm really glad my daughter is only 1 day old, so I don't have to figure out how to explain to her that her country doesn't respect her.

  16. Well, duh. You gotta use baby oil.
  17. I actually gained some respect for Herbie through this. He makes some good points.
  18. Absolutely agree. My post probably came off as a bit naive for that reason - Thanks for pointing that out. I agree that you have to have a combination of routes. I was pretty disillusioned with Saturday's offensive performance. It's just so frustrating to have the best WR group in the conference going largely to waste. I love the heart that Tommy shows...love that guy. Just frustrating that finally, our defense does its job in a big game. Then it's back to Turnover City and play that is largely ineffective. I don't have much hope against Ohio State...but obviously, I've never wanted to be more wrong! Tommy largely gets a pass from me just because how abysmal the offensive line has been.
  19. Jebus, how big of a masochist are you?
  20. The Bowl system is what watered the post season down. And the playoff is what brought some semblance of meaning to it. Expanding past 8 (which should be the absolute max) would kill 90% of the drama.
  21. Might as well vote for Trump if the Cubs win; the world's gonna end anyways.

I like Trump. I like the Indians. I like the Cubs. I don't like Hilary or 100 miles north of Canada :/

If Cubs win, Trump will sexually molest the stadium.

He's out there with a limo and a bag of fake gold earrings, he's classy that way.
